Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Sustained containment is not attainable due to the nature of SCP-XXXX. As such, containment efforts are focused on minimizing damage done to the foundation, its staff, and other SCP's during appearances of SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX most closely resembles a 19th century black powder mortar bomb. However, its features are not consistent with any bombs used in recorded history, and instead appear to imitate a design commonly used in popular media, especially cartoons. It is a cast iron sphere measuring with a radius of 18.9 cm and a weight of 88 kg. It has a dark, polished surface, from which protrudes a 3.5 cm slow burning treated cotton fuse.

SCP-XXXX is sapient, and moves by rolling along surfaces at speeds up to 1.5 m/s, although with lengthy periods of acceleration. Despite its seeming lack of agility and stealth, SCP-XXXX has repeatedly gained access to multiple Foundation facilities, unnoticed until deep within their interiors. This, along with security footage, suggests it may enter Foundation facilities through undiscovered anomalous means. SCP-XXXX's behavior indicates that it will use any means possible to cause damage to Foundation facilities, staff, and other SCPs, with great focus on the latter.

Once SCP-XXXX has reached its intended position, often near an SCP as to inflict optimal damage, it will activate. At this time, the fuse will ignite and produce sparks, though it will not burn or decrease in length. Simultaneously, a human face will morph from the cast iron surface of SCP-XXXX. It will proceed to vocalize, in an aggressive and profane manner, while expressing intense hatred for other SCPs, claiming that they all must be terminated, as it intends to do.
