Special Containment Procedures: Entity must be contained in a standard glass fish tank filled with saltwater. The tank must be closed with an appropriately-sized lid, and all materials used for the tank must be soundproof.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Melibe leonina that is twice as large. However, unlike Melibe leonina, it is amphibious, and its natural bioluminescence can be seen even in the presence of light. The entity can perceive sounds within the same range of distance and frequency as humans. When XXXX is exposed to a sound source, a translucent luminous ribbon (which accurately matches the sound wave produced by the source) is transferred from the sound source to the entity. The entity gains the ability to make music using that sample of the sound source, and its photophores light up in synchronization with its music. The original sound source is then unable to produce anymore sound.

Addendum: After SCP-XXXX's capture, it was brought to the Foundation in a small cubical tank with water by Dr. Allen Hackett and Dr. Joseph Lopes.

DR. HACKETT AND DR. LOPES MAKE VARIOUS GESTURES TELLING DR. CLEF TO BE QUIET, BUT A BLUE LUMINOUS SOUND WAVE IS SUCKED FROM DR. CLEF TO SCP-XXXX.

DR. CLEF TRIES TO ASK A QUESTION, BUT HE MAKES NO SOUND, WHICH SHOCKS HIM. SCP-XXXX USES DR. CLEF'S VOICE IN ACCOMPANIMENT WITH THE OTHER TWO VOICES. SCP-XXXX'S SIZE INCREASES BY 50%, CAUSING IT TO OUTGROW AND SHATTER ITS CURRENT CONTAINMENT, BREAKING FREE.

BOTH SCIENTISTS RUSH TOWARDS THE NEAREST ALARM BUTTON. AS SOON AS THE ALARM IS SET OFF, THE SAME MULINOUS SOUND WAVE IS SUCKED FROM THE SOURCE OF THE ALARM AND INTO XXXX'S ORAL HOOD. THE ALARM SOUND IS NOW PLAYED BY XXXX IN A RHYTHMIC MANNER.

SCP-XXXX'S MUSIC HALTS AS IT LOOKS AROUND IN A FRIGHTENED MANNER. SCP-XXXX THEN CRAWLS AWAY AT A SPEED OF 4 KPH. SCP-XXXX'S MUSIC RESUMES.

MULTIPLE RESEARCHERS ARRIVE AT THE SCENE SHOUTING VARIOUS EXCLAIMATIONS; SCP-XXXX SUCKS UP ONE LUMINOUS SOUND WAVE EMITTED FROM EACH, CAUSING THE GROUP OF RESEARCHERS TO GO SILENT.
