Description: SCP-XXXX is a spectral-like creature with shape shifting abilities. When not shifted, it is a black quadruped with a prominent, long tail and large ears. The specimen has been noted to not respond to touch or sight whilst in this form, but does respond to hearing and taste. SCP-XXXX emits a pulsing glow from the outline of its body, of which is constantly changing in gradient. The colours range from a bright pink to a deep purple.
SCP-XXXX was retrieved in 19██ when a group of teenagers reported a ‘dog that turned to smoke when they tried to pet it’. SCP-XXXX was then captured in Paris, close to the Eiffel Tower.
The specimen has stated it's name as "Eli".
If the specimen consumes living entities it will turn to a sudden, powerful rage, shifting through thousands of forms per minute. It is not yet known why the specimen reacts like this. The specimen will only calm when it is given meat. It will calm quicker when also gifted a non-living entity that it has not seen before.
The specimen is noted to only shift into entities that it has been exposed to in its lifetime, through any of its senses. When shifted, the specimen appears completely solid until physical contact is made. It will then turn into smoke around the intruding object, reforming when it has passed through.
