Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a HP laptop case. The room containing the object has to have a 10m diamater, and no objects, people, or any other entity should stay inside that room, with the exception of the laptop case and the SCP itself. Blast doors are required in the room. The laptop may not be opened unless for experimental purposes.

In case of experimentation, class D may not have any object with them with the exception of clothing, there should not be more than one person inside the laptop danger zone, and blast doors may always stay locked. The computer may only be opened by the subjects, and no data must be saved.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Pavilion dm3-1130us Entertainment Notebook PC. The behind and frame of the laptop is black, while the rest of the laptop is silver, with a metallic finish. It requires no batteries or charger in order to work.

When the laptop is opened, it automatically turns on. After a time between 15 to 20 seconds, the screen shows the desktop, with no programs on it.
After this, a window opens, showing a program named "E0Code", and begins doing a scan. No method has been found to terminate this program, but the computer can be used normally. After one minute, all entities inside a ten meter radius will show in the computer, alongside a code, which can be edited.
Editing the code of an entity inside it's radius may change the entity's nature, that being shape, color, or other variants. The code can be saved, resulting in possible manipulation outside the 10 meter radius.
After 3 minutes of exposure, the program shows an error, and proceeds to add, remove, or change parts of the code of all entities inside the danger zone. The effects can be random, and may include: Giving sentience to an object, changing the color of an entity, transforming the texture of an entity, killing or resurrecting a living being, turn an entity inside out. The limits of this effect have yet to be discovered.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered in Madrid, Spain, in ██/██/200█ when a group of policemen went at the home of Antonio Guillamón due to a supposed missing report. A police report explains how SCP-XXXX was found:

We first entered the house, and we found nothing but a messy entrance, and a bunch of wires lying around the floor. We went from the entrance to the living room, and saw a room with its door closed, so me and my partner went inside to know if there was someone there. We saw a body, which was completely green, nude, and was glowing but didn't release any light. Upon closer inspection, he had his mouth open, showing teeth in all his mouth, going down into his throat; he had three fingers in one hand ( … ).We did a search on the room, and found nothing out of the ordinary, with only a laptop turned on in middle of a desk. After a couple of minutes, my clothes turned into flesh, and the eyes of my partner turned completely black… we then ran outside the house, scared, and called on radio (…)

One of our agents inside the police force saw this report, and called the SCP foundation. The object was then extracted and sent to site-██

The program seems to only ignore the case this laptop was bought with, and the laptop itself. No other external objects (mouse, USB drives…) are ignored.

Class-D Experiment - 01/09/20██

Subject: Class D-3557
Procedure: Subject was locked inside the room with SCP-3557. He then is ordered to take the laptop out of the laptop case and use it.
Results: After three minutes of the subject using the computer, his clothing started to change color. Then, his hair disappeared, a third arm appeared on his back, was turned into a blank sheet of paper, and disappeared. 5 hours later from the experiment conclusion, due to the subject vanishing, Dr. H███ found a body in middle of the break room, his lower half inside one of the walls, with his face being only but eyes, seven arms, a mouth on the back of the neck, and wearing a suit without tie or shirt. No more anomalies or effects happened to the subject after finding.

SCP Experiment - 18/3/20██

Subject: SCP-████-1 ; Dr. Richard
Procedure: SCP-XXXX will be used by Dr. Richard, who volunteered to this subject, to treat the anomalies on a Class-D by SCP-████. SCP-████-1 will be brought in a cage in which no air from the inside will be transmitted to the outside to avoid infection. If results are favorable, Class-D will be sent to [REDACTED] for examination.
Results: SCP-████-1 was brought to SCP-XXXX room inside a bulletproof glass cage with a portable air tank inside. Dr. Richard entered the room right after, and the door from the SCP room was locked. Dr. Richard opened the object and let it scan the room for one minute. After showing the data file from Class-D 8371, Dr. Richard found a string of code which he suspected was SCP-████-1. After a couple of seconds, SCP-████-1 [REDACTED]. Dr. Richard closed the laptop before the 3 minute limit, put it inside the case, and requested finishing the experiment. Further experimentation may be required.
