Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5217 is to be placed in a 2x2 foot wooden box that is kept in a 10x10 ft concrete room, and must be checked hourly by those with C-Class permissions and above. The room is accessible by a special passcode, [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-5217 was found in a arts museum located at [REDACTED] on the day [REDACTED].
Description: SCP-5217 is a 10in x 12in photograph frame made of an unknown wooden material, and contains inside of it a photograph that will show the viewer an early memory from their childhood that is either an important or forgotten/repressed memory, repressed memories cause the photo frame to become a reflective mercury-like substance and good childhood memories make the photograph into a wooden material made from an unknown plant that may be extra terrestrial.
Those who view the photo will go under extreme feelings of nostalgia, and attempts to seperate them from the photograph will result in an aggressive rage, cases of casualties if both viewer and those who try to take away the photograph are [DATA EXPUNGED]. The viewer will attempt to flee containment with the photograph, but seem to be unable to see and leave behind "rivers" of tears or leave behind destruction. Some don't leave containment and will commit suicide by shattering the glass frame and using it to [REDACTED]. Only those with B-Class Rank and higher are able to run D-Class testing with the SCP. Inter-SCP testing must be approved by 05 Council Members.
