Item #: SCP-4180

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: All links to SCP-4180-1's server are to be stored on the secure server network hosted within Site-27. All instances of SCP-4180 are to be stored and secured within the designated server assigned by SCP-4180-1. Temporary access to the server requires approval from at least one Level 3 Senior Researcher, and all Site-27 personnel are to be notified of any experiments involving SCP-4180 twelve hours in advance. Permanent access to the server is not to be allowed under any circumstance.

Temporary access to the server is not to be allowed for more than four hours at any given moment, and accounts that access the server are to be terminated immediately after they leave. All personnel, at the time of experimentation, must terminate all access to the platform until word is given that the experiments run are over. Any experiment run on SCP-4180 is to be overseen and directed by at least one Level 3 Senior Researcher.

If an account has access to SCP-4180-1’s server, and has been online for a total of four or more hours, then that account is to be disabled on deleted from the platform. Further experimentation should log the characteristics and descriptions of these accounts, and mark them as new iterations of SCP-4180. If, by any means, an account of unknown origin appears on the server, it is to be assumed that it has been online for more than a total of four hours.

Description: All instances of SCP-4180 are accounts on a chatroom platform, known as [REDACTED]. Every instance is relegated to a single server, presumably created by SCP-4180-1. Each instance of SCP-4180 describes itself as a human, as well as an unknown figure. All descriptions of the latter variety have been shown to be deleted or changed. Each instance of SCP-4180 shows a separate description (including all deleted descriptions). All descriptions are known between instances, and all descriptions are consistent.

Repeated intelligence gathering of the description of SCP-4180-1 results in the obituary of a young female perfectly matching the description of SCP-4180-1, said to go missing during a hiking trip. All attempts to locate SCP-4180-1, as well as the missing Grace ███, have been unsuccessful. Interviews with the parents and friends of Grace ███ note that she was an avid user of this platform.

Attempts to gather information on SCP-4180-2 have been repeatedly unsuccessful, despite having been given the same information as was given for SCP-4180-1. It is possible that Norman ███ is a pseudonym.

All instances of SCP-4180 other than SCP-4180-3 speak to researchers in broken English. Any attempt to communicate in any other language is met with confusion. In addition, all instances of SCP-4180 are known to communicate in an unidentifiable language, using characters only available on American English keyboards. It is possible that this language was transcribed to these characters for convenience of communication between instances. All communication in this language occurs only when researchers cannot access the server. Any attempt to learn this language is refused.

Document 4180-01: Record of all consistent descriptions of SCP-4180:

SCP-4180-1 describes itself as a young Caucasian female with dark brown hair and green eyes. Their height is said to be approximately 175 centimeters, and their weight is unknown. They are primarily referred to as Nadine ███ by other instances of SCP-4180.

SCP-4180-2 describes itself as a young Caucasian male with light green hair (possibly dyed) and blue eyes. No height or weight have been given. They are referred to only as Norman ███.

SCP-4180-3, previously assigned as Personnel D-10626, is a young Caucasian male with dark brown hair and brown eyes. This personnel was measured at approximately 70 kilograms and approximately 170 centimeters. This personnel was determined missing during testing of SCP-4180 (see Addendum 4180-01), shortly before the appearance of SCP-4180-3. All non-anomalous descriptions of SCP-4180-3 perfectly match the known descriptions of Personnel D-10626. The name given for SCP-4180-3, John ███, also matches Foundation records.

SCP-4180-4, previously assigned as Personnel D-10835, is a young Caucasian male with black hair and brown eyes. This personnel was measured at approximately 65 kilograms and approximately 185 centimeters. This personnel was given to SCP-4180 on ██/██/20██ (See Addendum 4180-02), about 6 days before SCP-4180-4 appeared on SCP-4180-1's server. As with SCP-4180-3, all non-anomalous descriptions given perfectly match the Foundation records for Personnel D-10835. The name primarily used to refer to SCP-4180-4, Niko ███, matches Foundation records.

Document 4180-02: Record of all inconsistent and anomalous descriptions of SCP-4180-1:

Dr. █████ (under guise of a teenage boy): What is your name?

SCP-4180-1: My name is █████!

SCP-4180-2: What are you talking about, Grace?

(SCP-4180-1 deletes its message.)

Dr. █████ (under guise of a teenage girl): May I ask a question?

SCP-4180-1: Yes!

Dr. █████: What do you look like?

SCP-4180-1: What do you mean?

Dr. █████: What colours are your hair and eyes?

SCP-4180-1: My hair is silver and my eyes are green!

Dr. █████: I bet you look very pretty!

(SCP-4180-1 later edits the message, changing “silver” to “brown.” It should be noted that the response that was edited took 42 minutes to be given, and that no other response from SCP-4180-1 took more than 17 seconds to occur.)

SCP-4180-2 (unprompted): █████! Where are you?

(This message is immediately edited so that the name reads "Grace.")

Document 4180-03: Record of all inconsistent and anomalous descriptions of SCP-4180-2:

Dr. █████ (under guise of an adult male): Might I ask what you look like?

SCP-4180-2: Only white hair and blue eyes. A normal appearance.

(This message is immediately deleted.)

Document 4180-04: Record of all inconsistent and anomalous descriptions of SCP-4180-4:

Dr. █████ (under guise of a teenage girl): What are your names?

SCP-4180-2: My name is Norman.

SCP-4180-4: My name is █████.

(The message was immediately edited to match those on Foundation records.)

Additional Notes: It should be noted that SCP-4180-3 does not show any inconsistencies regarding any descriptions of instances of SCP-4180.

Addendum 4180-01: On ██/0█/20██, an experiment was run on SCP-4180 in which Personnel D-10626 was to use their personal account to communicate with SCP-4180. After approximately 4 hours, Personnel D-10626 disappeared from the testing chamber. No camera footage or witness testimony indicates the personnel leaving the testing chamber or being terminated in any way. A few days after this occured, SCP-4180-3 made its first appearance on SCP-4180-1’s server, using Personnel D-10626’s personal account. It has remained active since. Further attempt to log into the account was met by an “Invalid Password” message.

Addendum 4180-02: On ██/██/20██, another experiment was run on SCP-4180. The tests named in Addendum 4180-01 were repeated with Personnel D-10835, but the account was immediately deleted after the personnel went missing. As of the time this Addendum has been written, no additional instance of SCP-4180 has appeared. As of ██/██/20██, an alternate account has been created. This account acts exactly like all other instances of SCP-4180. All given descriptions of SCP-4180-4 perfectly match the descriptions of Personnel D-10835.
