SCP-4356 was discovered after a police report was filed in - --, Texas detailing the mysterious murder of a man and his entire family once coming home from a sporting event. All five of the victims were found dead in their respective rooms of the residents. Bullet wounds were found in their forehead and the middle of the chest. The foundation came to the knowledge of SCP-4356 when the item was found in the upstairs master bathroom of the residents, and when a police officer picked up the weapon became enraged and proceeded to kill four of his fellow officers. The officer was terminated after a patrol vehicle arrived on the scene to aid in the investigation. The officer observed the now enraged officer eliminate the other four by “fanning the hammer” of the gun. The officer was observed to never have to reload. Foundation personnel arrived on the scene and eliminated what is now known as SCP-4356-1. All witnesses of SCP-4356 were given class A amnestics.

SCP-4356 was later seen trying to communicate to foundation personnel by talking telepathically. It is not known how SCP-4356 can communicate, as further research provides that SCP-4356 possess all the normal makeup of a standard Colt Single Action Army revolver. SCP-4356 will attempt to communicate with personnel in a way to persuade them into releasing it from containment, though most attempts have ended in failure. Upon holding SCP-4356 the holder will lose all control of their body and their ability to think for themselves. This subject then becomes SCP-4356-1. SCP-4356-1 will then proceed to kill any and all human beings anywhere around in the current area. SCP-4356-1 is not invincible, though subjects possessed by SCP-4356 experience enhanced mobility and situational awareness, while also acquiring a Southern United States accent. Upon SCP-4356-1 being terminated SCP-4356 will cease living and SCP-4356 will cease communication for up to 48 hours.
