Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a room, only having one door and two windows with dimensions no bigger then 16 feet x 24 feet wide and head clearance of 11 feet. A standard garage dimension. Tools are accessible at the work bench inside, no outside tools are permitted pass main entry way and no tools are permitted to be removed from SCP-XXXX containment.
Maintenance is scheduled at least once every two months to if necessary, and performed only once during. D-class personnel are suggest to wear maintenance gloves while handling SCP-XXXX, and put in teams of three in rotation to avoid any adverse effects. Onsite observers such as Scientist and Psychiatrics are to be present during maintenance of SCP-XXXX. D-class personal are to report any desire to ride or use SCP-XXXX and removed from containment immediately, followed by Mental Screening.
Description:
SCP-XXXX resembles that of a late 1980's to early 1990's fishtail skateboard, comprised of layered wood laminate compressed into form. The footing is set with black grip tape with a cut out of the name David across it, the bottom of the board was custom painted with what appears to be a psychedelic tie-dye designs warn with use. Indictive of your standard Board slide tricks, a pair of aluminum Trucks also warn with signs of deep impressions also indictive of grinding. Each with the following. White 64 Centimeter wheels that appeared to have decals of fire hawks around the outer walls seemingly faded do to age (Four in all), barring's for each wheel, and the standard set screws, nuts and bolts, Riser pads (Neon Pink in color, comprised of soft plastic to reduce impact when landing) Over all. SCP-XXX is simply a well used Fishtail Skateboard.
Addendum:
SCP-XXXX Code name David's Radical Board, [subject to change.] SCP-XXXX was found near a local Dumpster in the city of Venice, California by a group of teenagers roughly between the year of 14 and 16, names were Tyler, Richard, Amanda, and Lucus. Time 12:23 p.m. of June 17th 1991 and 1992. No action was to be taken till further notice.
However, SCP-XXXX has been taken under advisement by the SCP Unit before when locals started talking about a supposed Skateboard connection to the death of a man named David, last name. Unknown. This happened some time around the late 80s during a World Record attempt to gap Six school busses via ramps and use of a skateboard. Resolting in a devastating Impact and subsequently, the Death of David. The Skateboard in question was lost and nowhere to be seen, Until now.
It wasn't till 1994 when the life of Tyler and Richard were recorded by SCP Units still in advisement, when one lost his life in a down hill Race on the winding road locally known as The Devils Back Bone, Tyler sustained near Fatal injury after hitting a patch of rough strait coming down the last turn and falling off a 34 foot cliff. Richard was not as lucky, his body found in a near by Water way. Signs point to a possible connection to the release of one of the local dams to lower the flood gate levels while Richard was skateboarding down the pipe lines. The board in question was found nine miles out and perfectly dried. the other names in question were that of Amanda, found locked in a Mental Ward do to obsessives compulsive disorders border lining insanity and Richard, Lost to depression found dead after alleged suicide.
SCP-XXXX was secured and taken to a near by facility, stored in a one car garage like Containment room and taken apart. However, prolonged dismantle has proven unadvisable after two D-class personal were driven insane with compulsions to restore SCP-XXXX back to its original construction. Both D-class personal are currently undergoing Therapy with little to no effect.
Suggested action: Full Memory wipe if possible, Lobotomy's, or euthanasia. The Compelling effect of SCP-XXXX seem indicative of physical contact with SCP-XXXX and are near impossible to rectify.
Notes: Its strongly advisable that under no circumstance is any On-site personal allowed to physically touch SCP-XXXX via Skin contact or ride SCP-XXXX
Interview log #1-A ' im making this log after the survey team that retrieved SCP-XXXX from one of the Californa Waterways. seeing as none of them are affected by the compulsion of SCP-XXXX previous test subjects. Ive come to the conclusion that one must make skin contact. Or Subsequently stand on SCP-XXXX…However, it would seem that taking SCP-XXXX is also a bad idea considering . Ive lost a few good personnel do to its unsavory effect. [end log]
Interview log #1-b ' im still not sure if this is even really a substantial record but the results are….fascinating. SCP-XXXX has a unique history considering the normality of its condition, its just that. a skateboard…be it with a tendency to compel users to ride and go to the extreme messure or out performing the next stunt. Ive noticed that with a few of the Death Row inmate subject that know little or no inherent skateboard skills are almost immediately skilled at basic levels of tricks. truly…fascination. [end log]
Interview log #1-c ' After some time give or take a few weeks of riding SCP-XXXX the subject has show improvement of well-verse skateboard tricks common to that of 1980s Fishtailed board, it seems rather cruel to use such a subject but Death row inmates are rather useful…
