Special Containment Procedures: All personnel who want to test with 1848 must submit a request form and be approved (request form must include what is being tested on). Two armed guards must be present at the entrance of 1848's room (two guards are present all day so one can go for meal times and social needs). The room is 7mx7m in size and 1848 is sitting in the center of the room. One guard is to be present inside the room with the testing personnel. The cameras in all four corners are to be in use when testing is in progress.
WARNING: Living creatures are not advised. Explosives' are not to be tested on.
Description: SCP-1848 is a medium sized devise weighing about 1.3 tons of titanium. Their are 3 compartments two input and one output, the input compartments are 1mx.5mx.5m the output compartment is 2mx1mx1m. Removing the back panel will reveal it to be hallow except for six wires, four tubes and a living human brain some force will not allow the removal of any component from within, it does not seem to need food or drink to work. Their is a button on the left input compartment labeled start when pushed the device will try to combine whatever is placed inside of both input compartments. It was discovered on ██/██/2002
When placing two objects within the input spots and pressing the start button the doors on the devise will shut, then the sound of a vacuum can be heard coming from the devise. Then it will open after about 10 to 20 seconds and a combined version of the two original objects will be found in the output spot. Not all objects can be combined if they can not be combined then the devise will say "Not compatible" before opening and reveling the two objects in the output spot not combined (two already combined objects will not combine at all).

Output: What seems to be a mug made of wood and ceramic with a clip.
Analysis: Devise seems to be able to combine objects
Test B - 11/8/2002
Tester: Dr.T██████ █.
Input: 1 Pomeranian dog and 1 Chimpanzee
Output: A disfigured creature with features of both subjects it died after 30 seconds.
Analysis: Living creatures can be combined but die soon after sending corps to Dr.C███ █. for analysis
Test C - 2/10/2003
Tester: Dr.T██████ █.
Input: 1 plastic bottle filled with water and 1 metal fork
Output: Both the bottle and the fork were found in output spot not combined.
Analysis: Not all things can be combined
Test D - 2/10/2003
Tester: Dr.T██████ █.
Input: 1 military grade grenade and 1 glass bowl
Output: An explosion as soon as the doors opened.
Analysis: The way the devise combines objects caused the grenade to go off devise was not harmed
