Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a 3 meter * 3 meter * 3 meter concrete cube with a layer of graphite inside the wall. No writing instrument is allowed inside except under the supervision of any Foundation personnel with security clearance 2/XXXX. Any writing instrument brought inside SCP-XXXX-1's containment area is to be only able to write with graphite.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomalous 8.5 in * 11 in piece of white grid paper with blue lines. All analysis returns the results that SCP-XXXX-1 instances are exactly the same as SCP-XXXX-1's non-anomalous counterparts. SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous properties manifest only when written on by any writing instrument. Upon being written on SCP-XXXX-1 will cause all lines that do not connect to another line on SCP-XXXX-1 to manifest as SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-2 are 1 nanometer thick regardless of how thick the line drawn on SCP-XXXX-1 is and are made of the same material that is used to create the lines on SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 manifests 2 anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX-2's main anomalous property is the ability to extend infinitely in 2 directions. This extension only stops when the instance of SCP-XXXX-2 touches a surface that is the same material as itself. The second property of SCP-XXXX-2s is the property of indestructibility. Nothing can break, move or stop SCP-XXXX-2 from extending except for a surface of the same material. If someone or something were to pass through an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 the object would be cut.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX-1 was found and retrieved by Personnel in Site 64 after Junior Researcher ██████ M█████ was found dead in his office with his torso sliced cleanly through. On his desk was an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 with doodles on it. The instance of SCP-XXXX-1 was put in containment.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 is shown to disappear when both sides of its self are touching the same material as itself.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 will disappear after exactly 24 seconds of 2 sides touching the same material as itself.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 will create instances of SCP-XXXX-1 when it touches any piece of 8.5 in * 11 in white grid paper, and the instance of SCP-XXXX-2 will disappear and erase the line it manifested from on the original SCP-XXXX-1. No paper is allowed inside of SCP-XXXX-1's containment.

Test A - 9/24/2020

Subject: D-104573

Procedure: D-104573 was asked to draw a line pointing away from and to itself using a No.2 Graphite Pencil. D-104573 did so and upon lifting the pencil from SCP-XXXX, D-104573 huddled over complaining of stomach pains. D-104753 was told to stand up and leave the room.

Results: Upon D-104753 standing up a line was created from around his naval cavity down to his [DATA EXPUNGED]. D-104753 immediately passed out and doing so collapsed sideways onto the floor, cutting off a leg in the process. The line was exactly 1 nanometer thick. 2 holes were found in opposite sides of the room, exactly 1 nanometer thick.

Test B - 9/25/2020

Subject: D-104624

Procedure: A thermal camera system was set up beforehand in the top corner of the room away from any reasonable area that the test would create any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 in.D-104624 was asked to draw a line pointing away from and to itself using a No.2 Graphite Pencil. D-104624 did so and upon lifting the pencil from SCP-XXXX, D-104624 was questioned about any pain. D-104624 reported not experiencing any pain. D-104624 was told to stay sitting for 2 minutes.

Results: Upon D-104624 standing up and leaving no bodily harm occurred to them. D-104624 was taken to a medical examination and found to have a hole exactly 1-nanometer thick running from slightly below its naval cavity through its body and out it's back, touching no major organs nor the spine. The thermal camera caught SCP-XXXX-1 and upon examination of the recording, it was shown that SCP-XXXX-1 lasted for exactly 24 seconds before disappearing.

Analysis: "That was much better. A lot less blood and more results."

Junior Researcher ██████ M█████ found dead at his desk at 12:00 by janitorial staff. It was later found he had an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 on his desk. It is unkown how J.R M█████ obtained an instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

Incident - 9/22/2020

Multiple instances of SCP-XXXX-1 was found to be in a stack of paper used for testing with SCP-4250-2. The resulting SCP-XXXX-2 instances killed ██ Site Personnel as well as SCP-4025-A, and created ███ new instances of SCP-XXXX-1. The testing room used was sprayed with a compound made of ink, dye, and ████████. All new instances of SCP-XXX-1 were destroyed.
