Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a room lined with a 5 centimeter layer of concrete. Bright lights must be attached to the ceiling of the containment chamber, and regularly maintained every 24 hours. SCP-XXXX once a year, breaches containment, and MTF Mu-13 ("Ghostbusters") is to be sent to the site for re-containment. For this reason, a backup generator must be attached to all lighting within Sector-█ inside Site-88 in case of power failures and containment breaches.

Personnel must have level 4 clearance if they plan to perform tests on SCP-XXXX. Personnel wishing to enter the containment chamber will be provided a uniform layered with multiple LEDs, along with 2 accompanying guards equipped with a high powered flashlight.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an entity which cannot interact with any object nor person when a light is cast upon it. When present in a room with extremely low light, it will be able to assume an unknown physical form, an interact with objects in the given room. Any light source makes it completely intangible. However, if SCP-XXXX is within a room with no exit in it's intangibility, it will be trapped within, unless an exit is made. Detection methods have had success in perceiving the entity. However, SCP-XXXX is capable of adapting and avoiding ways of detection.

SCP-XXXX can maneuver the environment during in the light, but can not make contact with living subjects. In this state, SCP-XXXX is blocked by any and all physical objects. When in darkness, SCP-XXXX is able to interact and with all physical objects. Some actions include but are not limited to: opening doors, moving furniture or objects in it’s way. SCP-XXXX also has a basic understanding of use of tools objects such as an axe. See incident Log-XXXX-198█-9-2

SCP-XXXX was discovered in 19██, when a call to law enforcement reported an individual inside their house. The Foundation was interested when law officials reported back they saw a figure in the dark, but found no trace of the individual when lights were turned back on. As well as individuals who claimed that whoever had disappeared. A Foundation squad was dispatched to the area to contain the subject, as well as amnestied individuals claiming they saw the SCP.

Researchers reported seeing a humanoid skeletal structure, however, the skull has no jaws, eyesockets, nor teeth.

SCP-XXXX through unknown means, escaped containment and gained access to the power infrastructure of Sector-██, and at 1:27 AM power was cut to all sectors. MTF Mu-13 ("Ghostbusters") was sent to Site-88 to recontain and repair the lighting system of the Sector. 14 researchers went missing after the incident, with multiple researchers saying the entity used an emergency fireaxe to reach it's victims
