Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be contained in 4 m by 4m by 4m steel alloy cube with a 1 m by 1 m bulletproof glass window with 10 0.05 m circular cuts for inspection and questioning at Site-██. On the bottom of the cube, there should be a 1 m by 1 m opening on the bottom the front facing cube for food and water. The room must be locked at all times and guarded by heavily armed guards at all times. All of this was explained by a former victim referred to as the Wounded Man. If SCP-XXXX were to break out of containment, all D Class criminals personal in the Foundation must have SCP-3000's aesthetics applied to remove any instance of meeting any SCP Foundation member to remove them from "The Hunt".

Description: SCP-049 is a male humanoid entity, roughly 1.9 meters in height, resembling a man lost in the forest with sharp nails, but has been observed to change its appearance. It preferred to be called [REDACTED]. It has a ripped t-shirt and shorts but can have any type of clothing. On examination of the body during sleeping hours¹ shows that there are scars and bruises on its body. It has been observed to regenerate wounds at excels rate compared to SCPs (but not at the rate of SCP 682). After further testing, it shows that SCP-XXXX has the speed of a normal human within 5 km of the SCP-XXXX-1 and any distance further increases the rate to always arrive 10 minutes after SCP-XXXX-1. From Addendum XXXX.3 and tale of The Wounded Man, it can be harmed and stopped, but can't die. It prefers to speak in English but can speak Latin, French, Italian, and Spanish. After coming into contact with it, they have a lingering feeling of paranoia if they are not part of "The Hunt".

It has been observed with three anomalous properties. Its main property is "The Hunt", it locates a human with a lack of their own death or a criminal with a first or second-degree murder and all of their friends and family( which be considered SCP-XXXX-1). After a day, the SCP-XXX-1 will be told it's being hunted and after a week will appear near them and murder a random bystander. Its second property, it can only be seen by SCP-XXXX-1 and all media containing SCP-XXXX will be erased and all observers will be murdered. If SCP-XXXX-1 tells anyone of SCP-XXXX if they believe him, will become part of SCP-XXXX-1's group of hunted. The last property is its "Death Touch", it is a spontaneous removal of all organ and the brain from his sharpened nails(see Addendum XXXX.2).

Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery

The Wounded Man, mentioned in the Special Containment Procedures, appeared at the SCP Foundation in ████████ and warned the Foundation about SCP-XXXX. After some time to catch his breath and recover from his wounds. He quickly confessed all he knows about SCP-XXXX. After he told how to contain the SCP, he explained that he and his friends trapped him in a prison cell. After containment of SCP-XXXX, the man died from one of SCP's anomalous properties.

Addendum XXXX.2: Autopsy of The Wounded Man

After securing SCP-XXXX, the corpse of The Wound Man was wheeled to Site-██ and was approved for an autopsy by the O-5. After dissecting with a scalpel throughout the body and found that the heart has been removed, but all of the veins and arteries are intact. Further exploration found the lungs, liver, stomach, bladder, kidney, and from the examination of the head, the brain and esophagus were removed. On the back of the body, there is a small slash that has discolored to black and has pudgy substance leaking from it. After further examination, it is classified as human █████.

Addendum XXXX.3: Capture of SPC-XXXX

After The Wounded Man explains his story, a strike squad arrived and prepared to incapacitate the SCP. After 10 minutes of The Wounded Man enter the Foundation the SCP arrived at the vicinity of the strike squad. After being tasered and shot, he was carried to his containment cell and further examination of his body showed bullets holes being healed and conscious being regained.

Addendum XXXX.4: Interview with SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX: Hello Doctor, My name is [REDACTED]

Dr. ██████: Okay, First Question What is "The Hunt"?

SCP-XXXX: It's the idea to instill fear of your own death and value their life by playing a simple game of manhunt.

Dr. ██████: How come you have not escaped your containment, your former victim described that you escaped their traps to stop you.

SCP-XXXX: I see that this Foundation has ideas of "The Hunt" in mind and value their life and the life of ours. In a way, I am amazed at the existence of this and I want to see how you deal with all of the other creatures you have. On the other hand, if I were to be released I will hunt down all of the criminals in this facility and you know what happens during "The Hunt."

Dr. ██████: Last Question, how do you hunt down your target?

SCP-XXXX: My eyes can determine the thoughts of anyone.

Dr. ██████: Thank you for answering our question. (Leaves the room, but now has the lingering feeling of paranoia)

SCP-XXXX: You,re welcome, bye.
