Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard safe-class item storage locker.

Description:SCP-XXXX is a luminescent gray cube, roughly 25 mm along each edge, emitting 1,000 lumens, which has the effect of removing all censorship on any information that SCP-XXXX illuminates. (Written information must have the surface it is on illuminated, digital information must have its storage device illuminated to be affected.) Additionally, all attempts to censor, redact, or expunge information pertaining to SCP-XXXX will be reverted as soon as visual contact with the censored information is broken.

All censorship removed is added to the volume, opacity, and luminosity of SCP-XXXX. It is believed that, given the current properties of SCP-001 at time of containment, that over 6,500 written redactions, 200 amnestic treatment reversals, and roughly 2,500 digital redactions have been reverted by SCP-XXXX.

ADDENDUM 05/26/2017:
While transferring SCP-XXXX to Site-15, Agent Antoinette was accidentally exposed to SCP-XXXX’s amnestic erasure effects, causing her to remember a memetic hazard she was exposed to, causing her to crash the airplane she was flying from Dulles International Airport, killing her and 17 other people. Explosion and ensuing fire were reported as an oil well fire.
