[[SCP-5093]]

Item #: SCP-5093
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Current manifestation is to be contained within a secure folder in SCP-5093-A. SCP-5093-A should be contained within a standard anomalous object locker inside a 5m x 5m standard containment chamber. No electronic devices are permitted within 10 m of the containment chamber. No personnel below level 2 clearance are allowed to enter the containment chamber.
SCP-5093-A must only be powered when used for testing, and must be operated by a human subject for as long as it is powered up. Any manifestation/copy of SCP-5093 detected outside foundation custody are to be deleted as soon as detected. All copies are to be deleted immediately after testing.

Description: SCP-5093 is currently a digital image of a red van with the words «Send NUDES “Bitch”» painted in white on its side doors. Upon viewing SCP-5093, subjects (designated as SCP-5093-B#) begin to display abnormal behaviours and compulsions, the exact nature of these depending on the subjects themselves, on the context in which the image is viewed and on SCP-5093’s current form. The effects of the current appearance of SCP-5093 tend to revolve around compulsions to send nude pictures to others affected at the same instant and engaging in [REDACTED] with affected subjects. Consistent with all manifestations is a compulsion to expose others to SCP-5093 or copies of it.
SCP-5093 is capable of changing its medium of propagation by being in contact with other forms of digital media. The process of selection appears to be totally random. After being exposed for a period of time between 10 seconds to 2 minutes, SCP-5093 will move to another file, with the previous means of propagation and all its copies losing their anomalous effect.
All copies of SCP-5093, designated SCP-5093-#, exhibit the same cognitohazardous effects. The object appears to be able to propagate through its copies as well, including changing its affected form of media, with the same effects as if done through the original file. All copies of SCP-5093 have the same file name and information, with changes in one affecting all others, the exception being editing of, in the case of the current manifestation, the picture itself. It is, thus, easy to detect any copy of SCP-5093 and delete it. Upon being digitally edited, any copy will lose all its anomalous effects. It is impossible to edit or delete the original SCP-5093 file however, with all attempts resulting in [REDACTED], followed by brain death of the subject. Upon changing means of propagation, the previously affected file can once again be edited and deleted.
SCP-5093-A is the designation of whichever device is holding the original copy of SCP-5093. Should SCP-5093 not be shared often enough, SCP-5093-A will proceed to send out copies of the file into as many contacts as it can. Should the device be turned off[[footnote]see Incident 5093-A1.[[/footnote]] disconnected from a power source, there will be no forced propagation. Currently, SCP-5093 is a ███████ brand smartphone which has had all other media files erased to ensure the containment of SCP-5093.
SCP-5093 was under the form of a 5 second GIF when it came under foundation attention, with containment being attained after 1 hour. Afterwards, object changed means of propagation twice (see Incident 5093-1) before changing into its current manifestation. After the object changed into its current form*, a safety 10 m radius was established around its containment chamber, with SCP-5093-BΣ (see Addendum Σ-5093#2) being designated responsible for research on the object.

Incident 5093-1: At 10:24 am, 19-██-20██, SCP-5093 changed means of propagation after being saved in a secure computer, taking the form of the foundation’s logo, the computers wallpaper. Due to standardization of wallpapers, all computers on site-2█ were infected. Affected personnel immediately began spreading copies of the image in question. On-site staff began erasing all copies of the image, while subjecting the original picture to various unique images, which resulted in SCP-5093 changing files again. 2█ personnel were affected by the SCP, resulting in 51 casualties.

Incident 5093-A1: On 1█-05-201█, SCP-5093-A sent SCP-5093 to Doctor T████’s mobile phone, who was near its containment chamber at the time. The breach was not noticed until the Doctor himself was subjected to the image. Doctor T████ immediately notified the foundation and isolated SCP-5093 with the current image. When the object changed forms, Doctor T████ promptly turned his phone off while foundation personal erased all copies of the new picture. SCP-5093 was recontained, with Doctor T████ being designated as SCP-5093-BΣ and his phone as SCP-5093-A. 10 m safety radius was implemented after reviewing the events leading to the breach.

Addendum Σ-5093#2: I know that it might seem like a stupid idea to put someone affected by an SCP as its lead researcher, however, Doctor T████ has proven to be extremely resistant to SCP-5093’s effects. On top of that, Doctor T████ the one leading the research on this object in particular, and having someone who can actually look at the damn thing without [REDACTED] with the D-Class is really useful. Besides, we have people with him at all times, in and outside the containment areas. If he dares to do something, He’ll be dead before you can say “Data Expunged”. –Site Director A█████
