Drinking bird
Class: Safe
Containment: storage locker approx. 12 cm x 12 cm x 12 cm, locked to level 3 clearance. Airtight, windowless room, to prevent accidental starting of motion. Personnel not the subject of any experiments or tests are required to wear eye coverings (standard safety glasses or corrective lenses are enough) at all times when around the object to prevent exposure to cognitohazard.
Description: standard "drinking bird" toy, approx. 8 cm tall and 3 cm wide. When set in motion, object poses severe cognitohazard, as even passing glances will be enough to induce an hypnotic state, during which time the subject is vulnerable to suggestion, as long as such suggestions do not require breaking line of sight of the object.
After being set in motion, the object will not stop on its own, and has been recorded to continue motion without slowing for up to 3 weeks, at which point the experiment was ceased. If the object is being observed directly when the motion is stopped, the subject will become confused, and may become violent or attempt to restart the motion. If the subject cannot restart the motion for whatever reason, they will become increasingly depressive or determined to gain access to the object, eventually either requiring termination or attempting suicide.
