Item #: 2001
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-2001 is kept in a solid concrete room with one fluorescent light which fills the majority of the room with light. The subject is to enter the containment cell with a guard on his side at all times. Once entered, the door will close off to prevent the subject from leaving the cell and if the subject would try and attack, the guard would have to calm the subject down with a tranquilizer dart.
Description:
SCP-2001 takes on the appearance of a mundane oak wood chair with scratches and dents all over the legs and seat. The Chair ("which SCP-2001 takes the form of"), is about 19 inches in height and 18 inches in width. SCP-2001 was found at an abandoned furniture store named [REDATCED] located in a small U.S. town called [REDACTED]. When a subject is seated on the entity, they would begin to grow increasingly anxious and worried until the subject begins screaming and flees from SCP-2001 in fright. The reason why is because once the subject is seated, he would be shown a nightmarish vision from which research tells us that the entity is causing. However, it is still unknown how it is able to do so. Further research is required.
