Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Any detected instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained as soon as possible, subjects infected by SCP-XXXX should be surveilled by an undefinite amount of time in search of anomalous internet activity immediately after exposition to SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX (or 'THEY') is only contained succesfully through constant attention; infected subjects must not stop interacting with 'THEY', as this could break containment and cause a new SCP-XXXX's phase to occur, which can only translate to a new set of behavior for infected subjects.
Further effects are still unknown.
Under no circumstances are subjects infected by SCP-XXXX to be contained together in the same room as this could also break SCP-XXXX's containment. The Foundation MUST be contacted in the event of any instance of SCP-XXXX escaping its containment. Since it was a quickly found-and-contained memetic effect, its infection's full effect is yet to be discovered.
SCP-XXXX's infection in any Foundation staff should be reported immediately. All personnel suspected of SCP-XXXX infection are not to participate in any more social Foundation staff events as it can pass the infection undetected (and the staff just thinks infected subjects become 'a little weird').
In the event of a massive SCP-XXXX outbreak, termination of patients and surveilled humans is authorized, any instances running on their own are to be terminated as well.
Description: SCP-XXXX, as a memetic effect, affects computer users, specifically Social Networks heavy users. SCP-XXXX affects any human who engages in uncommon online activity for a long period of time, uncommon online activity can be defined as the accumulation of small networks called 'groups' within a single user account.
These 'groups' work as SCP-XXXX's expansion field, since it can overtake the users' online behavior and change it in a matter of minutes.
SCP-XXXX has developed the ability to name itself, the latest self-referred name it acquired is 'THEY', which seems to have completed another phase for its development as it has increased its expansion capacity. The first instance of 'THEY' ever captured was in a popular social network by the name of ████████ but it has currently succesfully expanded to █████████ and it even has its own website at this moment, which serves as an 'auto-infection' platform.
This website serves as a portal to all the succesful 'infection grounds' SCP-XXXX or 'THEY' has acquired in present times.
'THEY' also seem to have a physical address (PO box) which is located in the city of [REDACTED] but any attemps made by The Organization to reach said location have failed as the PO box is just not found whenever an expedition is made.
SCP-XXXX's infection primary symptoms manifest through the active search of any of 'THEY' instances, which quickly evolves to a typical behavior that can be reduced to the emission of four common 'phrases':

HOW DO I TAG MYSELF
Said behavior seems to be completely harmful at this time, but since 'THEY' has never been uncontained for a long time, we can only estimate or try to predict what the new phases are going to look / behave.
We can only hope the infection is not harmful in any way to humans, only time will tell.
