Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be secured inside a 10m x 10m x 10m airtight chamber composed of a stronger variant of steel¹ at all times. A ventilation system consisting of four vents with a four layer airlock (for preventing the escape of SCP-XXXX-1) is to be installed into the ceiling of the containment chamber, with connection to a hydrogen supply. Mandatory checks for any form of cracks or holes in the chamber walls are to be carried out twice per week. If SCP-XXXX-1 breaks free from SCP-XXXX, the hydrogen vent system is to be activated immediately. If SCP-XXXX-1 escapes the containment chamber, Protocol XXXX-Thanatos is to be carried out. All personnel at Site-36 are to be provided with a gas mask and the appropriate B type filter to protect them from suffocation in the event that Protocol XXXX-Thanatos is required. If SCP-XXXX-1 undergoes a physical advancement that prevents it from being terminated in the already discovered fashions, SCP-XXXX is to be reclassified as Keter, all forms of testing are to be indefinitely halted, and SCP-XXXX is to be accompanied by a minimum of three armed guards at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large spherical entity that heavily resembles a human eye. It has a circumference of approximately 3 meters, is light green in color, and is slightly translucent. Its pupil contains [DATA EXPUNGED], an organ that carries out effectively the same function as a human kidney, and occasionally secretes a dark liquid. This liquid has been shown to be an extreme stimulant to pain, although it does exhibit any acidic or otherwise harming properties.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a small, green, serpentine creature that is approximately 1.5 meters in length. It resides inside of SCP-XXXX, floating inside of a liquid which has extreme sedative properties, even to the touch. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to have the almost constant intent of breaking out of SCP-XXXX, uninterruptedly scratching the sides of SCP-XXXX and biting it with [DATA EXPUNGED], a small mouth-like orifice with protruding, jagged projections of flesh. The liquid that surrounds it is presumed to be an attempt from SCP-XXXX to calm SCP-XXXX-1 and dissuade it from trying to break free. SCP-XXXX-1's outer flesh is composed mainly of oxygen compounds, and is highly susceptible to hydrogen combustion.

If SCP-XXXX-1 emerges from SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will enter a state of reasonable emotional agitation, growing several long tentacles from its pupil, until SCP-XXXX-1 is returned to its inside. SCP-XXXX-1 will actively begin seeking out human or animal life, and will eviscerate any brain-based organisms and lodge itself into the skull. It will release electrical impulses into the spinal cord, effectively suppressing the consciousness of the victim. This is believed to be a method of hiding from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX will begin to investigate the location of SCP-XXXX-1, impaling any lifeforms that it can see with its large tentacle-like protrusions sees in an attempt to find SCP-XXXX-1. If SCP-XXXX-1 travels to a location that SCP-XXXX cannot navigate to due to its large size, it will begin to create fissures in the walls with its large tentacles. (Currently it appears there are almost no materials that it is unable of rupturing, although one known exception is a stronger version of steel.) Once it determines the location of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX will grasp and place SCP-XXXX-1 back inside of it, and will become docile. SCP-XXXX can also become tranquil if SCP-XXXX-1 is exterminated. After the elimination of SCP-XXXX-1 is complete, SCP-XXXX will enter a state of temporary hibernation over a span of 1-6 days, during which it will begin to reform the makeup of SCP-XXXX-1. Whenever SCP-XXXX-1 is reformed, it may have slightly varied physical features. Variations have not yet prevented the termination of SCP-XXXX-1, although it is prominent enough that Foundation staff be prepared for such an event.

Addendum 1: Protocol XXXX-Thanatos requires MTF-Iota-13 to undergo 10 complete sweeps of the entire facility. During this time the main ventilation system is to be flooded with hydrogen. If SCP-XXXX-1 is not recovered or terminated, SCP-XXXX is to be reclassified as Keter.

Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX appears to be invulnerable to attacks to the bulk of its body, only showing any signs of pain when the pupil is breached. Tentacles have shown to be breakable (although not to the reaction of SCP-XXXX), but are highly regenerative, regrowing to full length in a matter of 5-7 seconds.

Addendum 3: The only method of treating "wounds" from the dark liquid is thoroughly cleansing the afflicted area of skin. There is currently no known method of treating subjects who have ingested the liquid.

Overview:

Containment Area 48 is to be located 400m underground, away from any caverns or other underground structures. Containment Area 48 must contain the following:

• A reserve tank containing at least one thousand (1,000) kg of neurotoxic gas at any given time. Gas is to be released into the ventilation system in the event that a subject becomes agitated or uncontrollable.
• Fifty (50) cm thick blast doors made of a highly conductive material shielding. These doors must be wired to a power supply at all times and must be capable of emitting a four thousand (4,000) AC voltage deterrent shock.
• A reserve tank containing at least seven-hundred and fifty-thousand (750,000) liters of carborane acid, and a piping system capable of distributing it across the entire facility.
• Armory stations containing fully automatic assault rifles, full-body ballistic armor, and gas masks. These stations are to be placed every 30m throughout the site.
• One (1) standard fire extinguisher and one (1) anti-septic filled extinguisher must be placed in an easily accessible location in every single room.
• A "radation wing" located to the southwest of the main facility, containing a nuclear reactor and containment cells for Nu and higher class instances of SCP-XXXX.

Every afflicted subject is to be stored in a 5m x 5m x 5m room with 1m thick walls constructed with a material that is resistant to carborane acid. Those who have been afflicted with a reasonable size change are to be referred to a 9m x 9m x 9m chamber in the Large Specimens bay. If a larger or more protected chamber is needed it is to be constructed as soon as possible. If a specimen advances beyond Checks for cracks or fissures within a 100m radius of the containment sectors are to be made daily.

When transporting subjects to and from SCP-XXXX-Ω, they are to be accompanied by a minimum of eight (8) armed guards clothed in Level A hazmat protective suits. If any biological matter is shed during transport, the contacted surface is to be cleansed and the biomatter disposed of immediately. No more than one (1) Mu or higher class subject is to be transported at a time. Subjects must be kept at least 35m apart from each other when being transported to and from SCP-XXXX-Ω.

Showing a desire to interact with SCP-XXXX-Ω is grounds for immediate termination.

Neurotoxic Gas:

It is imperative to the security of SCP-XXXX that the reserve gas tanks must be online at all times. This includes during maintenance. If for some reason the tanks are compromised or become nonfunctional, all instances of SCP-XXXX are to be returned to their containment chambers immediately, regardless of enhancement scheduling. Additionally, it is necessary for pressure to be maintained between 77.2 and 78.6 PSI units during all times except maintenance (however if pressure can be maintained during maintenance it is highly optimal).

Blast Doors:

The blast doors of the facility must be able to withstand a blast of 650 kilotons from 500m away.

Radiation Wing:

A large nuclear reactor utilizing the molten salt FLiBe²
as a reactor coolant and solvent is to be installed in the southwest sector of the main facility and is to be remain active at all times. All radioactive waste is to be transported into the chambers of the radiation wing. All specimens in the radiation wing must be exposed to at least six (6) sieverts of radiation per hour (excluding transport).

Emergency reactor protocol: In the event that a large number of dangerous specimens manage to free themselves from the facility, all coolant is to be drained from the reactor.

Description: SCP-XXXX-Ω is a small vintage computer monitor (brand unknown, but it is believed to be an archaic Macintosh model) and keyboard which has a surface that is comprised of human skin that has been stitched into a pelt. It is an active neurohazard and possesses the ability to physically and mentally interface with organisms that interact with it.

When a new subject approaches SCP-XXXX-Ω, it will display the message "Press enter to accept our terms of service."³ Upon pressing the enter key, a small tentacle-like protrusion appears from the side of SCP-XXXX-Ω and implants a small conical object into the subject's frontal lobe. The screen will then begin to display a red alpha (α). The subject is now classified as SCP-XXXX-D-G, where D is replaced with the subject's D-Class identification number and G is the Greek character displayed on SCP-XXXX-Ω.

Discovery Log XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was discovered in █████, India after reports of a hostile humanoid creature taking the place of a previous resident and committing "indecent and obscene acts with [their] people. It killed them, then raped some, and peeled flesh off of others," according to a local resident (see Interview XXXX-1). MTF-Delta-37 was commissioned to contain said humanoid creature. SCP-XXXX-Ω was in a small garage at the time of discovery. The room was stained with blood and flesh was stitched onto every surface. SCP-XXXX-0-λ was located 7 hours later, removing the skin from several corpses. MTF-Delta-37 reported ███ casualties before SCP-XXXX-0-λ was fully contained.

Reyansh Anand: It was a terrible nuisance, and an absolutely disgusting, bloodthirsty demon.

███████: Could you please go into more detail, sir?

Reyansh Anand: It was all over the place, all the time, and it was always doing indecent and obscene acts with my people. It killed them, raped some, and peeled flesh off of others. Officers came to the site with guns but their bullets did not do anything.

███████: Elaborate on the flesh, please.

Reyansh Anand: Oh, that thing was obsessed with the flesh. It would always take it away from the people it killed. It could take it off like it was tearing apart a paper. It never ate it, though. None of us know why it would do this. I think perhaps it is sort of like a sacrifice, maybe like to some sort of gods? It is hard to say certainly.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a high-value specimen locker accessible by Level 3 or higher personnel only. SCP-XXXX must be placed inside of a small, steel box with three openings at the top: The front-most slot must have a small cover for obscuring the sight of SCP-XXXX. The second slot will remain empty unless testing is occuring. "Filters" with patterns of holes and materials of varying opacities will be inserted to test the capabilities and map "sections" of SCP-XXXX. Testing is prohibited without the approval of at least two Level 3 personnel. SCP-XXXX will be stored in the third slot.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small 13 cm x 15 cm photograph displaying small black, white, and varying shades of gray in small squares, resembling extremely high definition television static. Each square measures roughly one (1) square micrometer (μm²). SCP-XXXX has a strong cognitohazard that is triggered by directly viewing the photograph: When a subject views the entire surface of SCP-XXXX, their consciousness appears to become completely suppressed. All vital functions continue, however subjects exposed to all of SCP-XXXX have never shown any signs of recovery. All magnetic resonance imaging tests have revealed that exposed subjects do not have any mental activity, disregarding sections that control involuntary functions such as breathing and digestion.

Each individual square is responsible for the erasion of a concept or cognitive ability in the mind of the viewer. If any part of the photograph is obscured, the viewer will not experience complete mental shutdown. It is currently unknown if there is a pattern to the location of the squares and the concepts that they are responsible for erasing being tested which squares are responsible for certain patterns of erasion.

Analysis: μm (5000, 600)—(6200, 640) are responsible for arithmetic erasion. Further experiments necessary.

Subject: D-1973
Results: Prior to exposure, subject showed above average short and long term memory, capable of memorizing long numeric strings. Afterwards, their memory appeared significantly worse. Subject could barely repeat short phrases and numeric strings. Later diagnostics revealed that the subject had lost an array of childhood memories,
Analysis: Assorted μm spectrums result in general memory loss. Further research necessary.

Results: Subject had lost memory of the prior thirteen days. Further examination revealed that otherwise, his memory was perfectly intact.
Analysis: Semi-transparent filters do allow the cognitohazard to retain some of its efficacy, but it is diluted significantly.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a group of seven candles with varying appearances that each possess unique anomalous properties.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a white, unscented candle, approximately 10 cm in height and 27 cm in circumference. It is capable of emitting large bursts of flames at intervals ranging between 10 seconds and 23 hours, however shorter intervals are more common. The length of the wick and integrity of the candle seem entirely unaffected by these random outbursts.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a red, unscented candle, approximately 20 cm in height and 42 cm in circumference. An image of actor Daniel DeVito has been carved into the side of it, along with a caption reading "Experience DeVito" in cursive stylation. When lit, a gas is released that causes mildly psychedelic symptoms in those that are near it. It should be noted that these symptoms affect those who are simply near the gas, and not breathing it. When a subject is exposed to the gas for longer than 20 minutes, they will enter a state of cardiac arrest.
