SCP-XXXX in containment.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site-45. SCP-XXXX is to be provided with meals three (3) times a day, at 7:30am, 12:00pm and 5:30pm. Womens’ sanitary items are to be supplied upon request. Bringing foundation-supplied technology into SCP-XXXX’s containment cell is prohibited without Level 3 clearance.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity, resembling a human female in her late twenties. SCP-XXXX’s behaviour matches that of a stereotypical housewife from the 1940s. SCP-XXXX identifies itself as “Patricia Williams” (See Interview Log XXXX-a). An investigation into the identity of SCP-XXXX revealed that a Patricia Williams lived on 53 Oceania Street in Sydney, Australia in 1943. No other records of Patricia Williams have been found. SCP-XXXX is extremely open with staff regarding its nature, but it is unable to recall its own age or origin and only has memories from the year 1943 onwards.

When technology created since 1943 is directly viewed by SCP-XXXX, it is replaced exclusively by an object that was sold to the Australian public in 1943. Transformed objects are equivalent in purpose and quality to the replaced device. For example, a ██████ brand CD player was transformed into a 1943 ██████ ███ model gramophone. (see Experiment Log XXXX-b) What causes this phenomenon to occur is unknown. All current affected objects have been tested and are considered authentic and non-anomalous. SCP-XXXX is not aware of any changes to objects exposed to it, as the object is replaced instantaneously.
