Creating the Page:
First things first is to make a sandbox. This way you can play around with embedding images, formatting, all of that jazz before making the actual art page. You can make a sandbox here.
If you are hosting your images offsite on either Imgur or DeviantArt, go to the site you're using, upload your art, and grab the source link or image location link. Usually you'll need to right click the image to get this link. Copy it. Go to your sandbox, open the editor, and click on the insert image wizard. Follow the instructions as the box provides them. You can also just use:
When you save and close the editor, this should embed the image. If it doesn't, you have the wrong link.
If you are hosting the images on the page itself, go to your sandbox and close the editor. Now, go down to the bottom of the page, click on files, and upload a file from your computer. It should walk you through this process. Once your image is uploaded, go back to the editor, open it, and click on the same insert image wizard. Click on the attached file option, follow those instructions, and the image should be added.
You don’t have to, but if you have larger file sizes, it’s recommended to place the images within a collapsible to help the page load faster. You can find the code to do that here.
As for other formatting tips if you want to do something more fancy, check out some of these links below. You can also browse pages you like, go to the bottom, click on options, then source code, and see what other users did to customize their pages.

Posting the Page:
Once you have your page finished in your sandbox, it's time to post it. Head on over to the contribute page. Go to the bottom of the page. There’s a box that says “New Page Advanced”. In the box, type whatever you want your art page to be called ("Username’s Art Page" for example). Create the page. It’ll bring you to the editor.
Go to your sandbox, copy ALL of your code, and paste it into the editor. Save the page and close the editor. If you are hosting the files on the page itself, go to files, upload all your images again, then check the code - you do not need to do this if you are using source links. If you named the files the same, they should all embed once you’ve added the images. If they don’t, you’ll have to redo that part of the code, but now that you know how to, it shouldn’t be too difficult!
Don’t forget a rating module, but otherwise congrats, you’re done!
