Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in Site ██ in █████████, England. It is to be kept in a padded, white cell and posted to a wall via a nail. It is to be spoken to daily by a random Class-D personnel. It should be noted that the same Class-D personnel cannot be used more than once in the same fortnight.
Should a [REDACTED] event occur, microchips within the ears of the staff at Site ██ will explode, completely obliterating the staff member's ears. Kill squads shall also be deployed to patrol the site and put down any civilians found within a 10 mile radius.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 33.02 x 38.1 centimeter wooden frame with a seemingly blank canvas inside. However, upon a human entering the room it is kept in, a portrait of that human's favorite political figure (SCP-XXXX-1) will appear as a portrait in the painting. (It should be noted that if any animals enter the room, A strange amalgamation of colors will appear resembling abstract art.)
SCP-XXXX-1 is able to completely move within their canvas and is able to communicate with anyone observing it. SCP-XXXX-1 cannot perfectly resemble the character of the person it is impersonating, yet does carry their views over a few random traits. It also appears to be aware of its surroundings and of its anomalous characteristics. It also remembers only the person who "manifested" it.
SCP-XXXX-1 has a strange characteristic in that it can seemingly convince anyone of anything. (See Addendum XXXX-1)
If SCP-XXXX is left alone for three days, it will begin a [REDACTED] event, causing anyone within a 10 mile radius whose ears are functioning to ████ ██ ████ and viciously attack anyone they see, citing the beginning of an event known as ███ ████ ████████, an event believed to be fictionalized in the head of the victims caused by the waves emitted from the [REDACTED] event.
Addendum XXXX-1: Test
D-███, once a communist guerrilla, has been observed to be converted into a fully fledged Fascist after observing a portrait of Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator, through video footage. D-███ has since been transferred to another site as D-███ was unable to manifest their previous figure, Karl Marx, the political theorist, and simply manifested Benito Mussolini.
Addendum XXXX-2: Interview
SCP-XXXX-1, manifested as German politician Otto Von Bismarck: Odd. I find myself in a padded cell room. Is it for mental reasons, or for something more sinister?
Dr. Rommel: You're in that padded cell for the safety of that Class-D crapping himself in the corner, over there. Last thing we'd want is another [REDACTED] event like what happened in 19██.
SCP-XXXX-1 19██? I don't recall.
Dr. Rommel: You were manifested as Vlad the Impaler, the fellow with you there was quite odd, and apparently you inhereted his blood lust. It's the only time a [REDACTED] event has occurred without any human error.

Dr. Rommel: What is your ultimate goal?
SCP-XXXX-1: My goal is the unification of all German peoples under the Prussian crown, of course!Dr. Rommel: We know that you know you're an SCP. Stop messing around and answer the question.
SCP-XXXX-1: Hrmph, very well. I merely wish to help humanity. If humanity does not radicalize and debate be inspired fast, it cannot hope to succeed. That's why I must resort to more… alternative methods should nobody care to chat with me.
Dr. Rommel: How could you possibly "radicalize" people with moderate characters such as Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who seems to be one of the most popular figures?
SCP-XXXX-1: Haven't you been paying attention? I take some traits from them, not all of them. Franky has some radical ideas that I can… expand upon, just like every other politician in history.
Dr. Rommel: When did you become aware of your consciousness?
SCP-XXXX-1: It was somewhere around 1666, after the Great Fire of London, when I was discovered in the wreckage of a burnt house. It was a French immigrant who found me, so naturally I took the form of Joan of Arc. That's what led to the myth that she was sent from the heavens for the French, or if you're on the English side, that she was sent from hell. It was all because of me.
Dr. Rommel: Can you only manifest political figures?
SCP-XXXX-1: I think so. I'm still not sure how this wooden prison works.
Dr. Rommel: Are you aware of any other capabilities of SCP-XXXX beyond manifesting yourself?
SCP-XXXX-1: It may be possible to render myself outside the frame, in physical form. What you would identify as SCP-XXXX-2, I suppose. It happened only once, when I was in the hands of an Italian professor who probed and prodded me even more than you do! I made sure to take care of him swiftly.
Dr. Rommel: That's all I have time for for today. Thank you for your time, D-███ will be escorted out, now.

Closing Statement: Dr. Rommel believes that additional steps should be taken in case this theoretical "SCP-XXXX-2" appears, but the foundation has decided for now that it does not exist.
