Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently located at Site-██, locked in a containment room that is 50 meters below the ground. The SCP takes the form of a subway train with 5 cars. When the entity was discovered in the Atlantic Ocean, the Foundation's diving personnel stated that the train was slowly moving on the bottom of the ocean, despite the lack of a railroad or human presence. SCP-XXXX now lays with its wheels blocked by clamps, since its self generated movement could not be stopped. To prevent rust, every 2 years the entity is applied with anti-rust paints. It is forbidden to touch the entity, since the Foundation tries to preserve every single bit of the wreckage.
Description: SCP-XXXX takes the shape of an average subway train, with a length of 250 feet, a width of 9 feet and a height of 12 feet. It has 5 cars, each being 60 feet long. The train could not be associated with any car manufacturer or subway station. The entity was discovered in 19██ in the Atlantic Ocean. There was no human presence inside, and yet the entity had a slow movement of its own. The train was also not moving on rails. It is believed that the entity had circumnavigated the globe 3 times before its discovery.
After a thorough investigation of the wreckage, no bodies were found, and a study concluded there was never any human activity inside the train. The investigation also failed to find the source of power that ensured the entity's movement.
SCP-XXXX doesn't present or has presented any harmful behavior, except for one time in 2009, when the entity's front lights turned on and knocked out half of the site's electric power. After 8 minutes and 34 seconds, the lights turned off, and the power came back on.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was once heard in 2002 honking. The event never occurred again, and it is still inexplicable to this day.
