Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a sealed 3 meter tall room with 1 meter thick concrete walls, one of which containing a flush vault door. Adjacent from the containment location, a emergency copier and frame replacement room should be installed to reproduce SCP-XXXX-B whenever it is unrecognizable and/or irreparable, and behind the aforementioned door, an intricate maze should be created to distract SCP-XXXX from attempting to breach containment while recreation equipment is nonfunctional or when SCP-XXXX-B is being temporarily relocated for testing. Containment is to be accessible through a hallway connecting two standard containment doors, actual access to containment located next to the maze's entrance.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an emaciated 2.7 meter tall humanoid with fur covering most of its body. It was first discovered holding a framed black-and-white photograph of a human male, approximated to be 40 years of age. The photograph is frequently referred to as SCP-XXXX-B, due to an anomalous connection between the humanoid and the picture that causes SCP-XXXX to release a fear response in the form of a rattling, pulsing scream when the image or frame is severely damaged or lost.1 However, what follows the first stage of SCP-XXXX's fear cycle depends on the threat: If the threat is a loud noise and/or violent action, the second stage is usually running in the opposite direction, but if it's the aforementioned loss of SCP-XXXX-B, the second stage is instead inspecting any available spaces until the picture is found again. SCP-XXXX has two ways of communication: The first is English, which is spoken through the voice of a Southern male minor, and the second is a code similar to Morse code, expelled from an unknown part of the head through ELFs (extremely low frequencies). The code is used to communicate with inanimate objects, such as doors, walls, or SCP-XXXX-B, and "ask" them to preform actions, i.e. telling a door to open.2
Addendum-1: SCP-XXXX was found on ██/██/19██ in a barn located on an animal farm in ██████, ███████. It was sitting on a circular piece of carpet, surrounded by a 1950s era radio, a Jeep headlight, and a modern wax candle. These objects are believed to represent and be the source of SCP-XXXX's anomalies.
Addendum-2: "Brilliant, now we know that every object in the universe has character traits. This is bound to become another SCP-914-esque experiment dispenser." - Dr. █████.
Addendum-3: "I ain't asking them to talk to me. I don't really like to talk. But, they talk to me all the time. They're always yapping on about some nonsense and all I can do is listen. They're loud, and scary, and sometimes even a bit evil! I wish I'd never did what I did back in '██." - SCP-XXXX.
