Description: SCP-XXXX is a 30cm x 10cm x 5cm rectangular music box constructed from mahogany wood and engraved with a carved scene on each face depicting pastoral scenes and children at play. The interior of the box is constructed of ivory and painted with decorative symbols. On the right side of the interior is a small gold lever with marked "on" and "off" positions.

Under scrutiny by human subjects, especially children, the carvings on the outside of SCP-XXXX will move in a manner consistent with the behavior of their real world analogs. Carvings of children will run or play with blocks, carvings of animals will exhibit normal animal behavior, etc. This is not a memetic effect. The carvings physically move and change, although they never move off of their faces. This effect occurs even under indirect observation, but video recordings of SCP-XXXX do not cause the carvings to change when observed.

The object's primary anomalous property occurs when the lid is opened and the lever is moved to the "on" position. Any subjects who are able to hear SCP-XXXX will report hearing a song that is of great personal emotional significance. Most (~85%) of subjects report hearing a song closely connected to their childhood or a childhood experience. Subjects listening to SCP-XXXX almost always report feelings of intense nostalgia and begin crying within 2 minutes. This effect is
