Special Containment Procedures:
No special safety procedures needed. SCP 5869 doesn't need to be supervised and poses only slight immediate risk, contact with SCP 5869 is to be prohibited and minor punishments will be delivered to that subject. Level 0 clearance is needed to access the subject, but level 3 access is needed for the interaction of SCP 5869. Unauthorized removal of SCP 5869 from its containment will result in an immediate termination and SCP 5869 will be returned and "reset".
Description
In appearance it resembles golden disk with a radius of half an inch and a width of one eighth of an inch. It is indestructible and made with a gold/uranium alloy, the contents of the alloy are as stated in an un interupted form 75% gold, 24% uranium, and 1% other imperfections, making it radioactive. Long term exposer will result in swelling of internal organs, loss of eye sight, and probable death due to acute radiation poisoning. Contact with SCP 5869 doubles the amount of "coins" making clones of its self every five minutes going from 1, to 2, 4, 8, like a cell reproducing rapidly. These clones gold content gradually switches to uranium, producing more and more radiation. To stop the duplacating/cloning of SCP 5869 you need to destroy all the clones and 5869 at once in a high energy or nuclear explosion leaving only the original behind.
Additional Notes
The clones(5869-1,2,3…) have special properties that could be used/exploited by the foundation for power use in nuclear reactor cores.
They were discovered in an experiment carried out by the foundation in which alloy plates being on the 1:1 setting of SCP 914 lead to a problem when the cloning effect went unnoticed and large radiation spikes were found in the containment area and was handled almost instantly.
