Special Containment Procedures: The area surrounding area SCP-XXXX is to be fenced off, and basic surveillance equipment kept to monitor the outer perimeter. A small team of Foundation geologists and researchers are to study the craft, and any findings be submitted to Head Researcher . Foundation security personnel are to turn away all civilians, any that attempt to enter the site are to be restrained, and turned over to local authorities. Any civilians that breach the perimeter are to be terminated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large spacecraft of unknown origins that appears spherical towards the helm of the ship, while triangular approaching the rear. The spacecraft itself is made of a durable metal that has similar consistency to titanium, yet is lighter. Onboard equipment is beyond repair, and documents collected have degraded over time while others are partially burnt possibly due to fire damage after crash landing. Various corpses have been recovered from the site with three being alien in nature, and one humanoid found within what seems to be the deepest parts of the ship, deemed SCP-XXXX-A to D. The alien corpses show signs of being mutilated with various parts, presumably organs, roughly cut out and missing from the bodies. The humanoid figure shows signs of having its brain completely liquified from within, and is most likely the cause of death. As to why the corpses have been preserved for such a period of time considering the surrounding area is currently unknown. An altar was present near where the corpses were recovered, and it is presumed that cult like worship towards a deity was actively occurring in the area. No records depicting what was being worshipped and how were found.
SCP-XXXX was discovered by hikers 20 km southwest of what is now presumed to be the location of Mesopotamia on . The hikers were found when pictures depicting a cave with a large aircraft were posted on www.aliensarereal.com. The hikers in question were placed under Foundation custody, and questioned after determining there were no biological contaminants present within them. They were later given Class B amnestics, and the website was subsequently shut down. Foundation personnel established a perimeter under the guise of an archaeological find, with governments told that the region held historical significance, and should not be disturbed.

Addendum-XXXX-1 :
Archaeological findings place SCP-XXXX within a thousand years before the foundation of Mesopotamia. Its current resting spot places its crash landing 40 km east, it is still unknown what caused it to crash in the first place.

Special Containment Procedures: Currently SCP-XXXX-1 is unable to be contained, and further research into possible cures is ongoing under project name “Tongue-Tied”. SCP-XXXX-A to D are to be kept in Bio Site , along with surveillance equipment, and four armed guards rotated every six months. Security personnel are to be given Class A amnestics upon rotation change, and their file stating they were assigned to safe class anomalous objects during the time. POI-XXXX-1 has been tagged with a small locater in his upper right arm, and is to act out his daily life. Once annually POI-XXXX-1 will be taken to a Foundation hospital where a physical and psychological evaluation is to be given annually. Subject is to be unaware of his state at all times, and four Foundation agents are to follow the target from a distance of 500 meters, and two Foundation agents are to act as the child’s parents indefinitely.
A shell company named is to head in the acquisition of persons found with a liquified brain, and dispose of the corpses. A large scale media campaign is to be enacted in order to prevent such cases to be well-known/renown within academia or other media outlets.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is currently present within 99.9% of the populace. The strain which is derived from the blood of the corpses of SCP-XXXX-A to C is memetic by nature, and once introduced into the bloodstream will proceed to [Redacted], and lay in a quasi-active state until full activation. Upon activation SCP-XXXX-1 will render SCP-XXXX-2, any given subject that activates, in an unconscious state where then the brain will be subsequently liquified after 5 minutes of unconsciousness in 99% of cases, only one recorded case has been found where upon activation subject did not die, thereby recorded as POI-XXXX-1, see Addendum-XXXX-1-1. No method found has been able to hinder liquefaction in any way, and activation has been shown to be completely random. SCP-XXXX-1 has shown to have less of a presence within animals, see Addendum SCP-XXXX-2.
The majority of the populace will be unaware of any effects that SCP-XXXX-1 has in its quasi-active state. It has been shown to cause discrepancies within speech patterns, and is known to be the cause of a large majority of speech related impairments with the populace. Through an fMRI it was shown that SCP-XXXX-1 inhibits the functioning of Wernicke’s area in the brain, and/or Broka’s area by slowly liquefying these areas at a rate of 0.0001% per 2 months on average. The liquefied areas are expelled into the surrounding cerebrospinal fluid.
The discovery of SCP-XXXX-1 was made upon correlating the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 to the large amounts of casefiles where subjects were found to have completely liquified brains. Blood samples taken from SCP-XXXX-A to C were found to have been present within the bodies of, albeit in a more evolved form. It is believed that the intake and ingestion of amounts of tissue and blood from SCP-XXXX-A to C by Mesopotamians transferred the strain to humans.

Addendum SCP-XXXX-1-1:
On an SCP-XXXX-1 activation event was found present within a newborn child. The child was pronounced dead for 5 minutes after activation where upon vitals were then found present. After deliberation with the parents the child was moved to Foundation hospital, and the parents were subsequently terminated. Agents and were made the child’s parents, and were moved to what is now New York. The subject showed having the brain completely reformed from SCP-XXXX-1 liquified matter.

[Dr. ]: How was school?
[POI-XXXX-1] : It went fine, I guess. Learned something interesting about myself today.
[Dr. ] : Oh. Is that so, well then please do share.
[POI-XXXX-1] : My friends call it Logic.
[Dr.] : How did that come about?
[POI-XXXX-1] : I was trying to explain to my friends about something I saw on YouTube, about the sun, and how it produces these particles from the conversion of energy. Even though I thought I sounded pretty convincing, they still said that it made no sense. They said I was inarticulate, and when I searched it up I found that it meant that I couldn’t say what I was thinking without screwing up.
[Dr. ] : I’m sure you just need to slow down, and speak slowly without rushing your words.
[POI-XXXX-1] : But that’s the problem. Everytime I get my chance to speak my brain freezes, and I can’t put what I thought back together. It’s only now I realize that my thoughts and words are never the same.

[Dr. ] : How about in Spanish? Do you have the same problem with a different language?
[POI-XXXX-1] : I don’t know. I never thought about it. I usually just speak my mind when I speak in Spanish. I don’t use that proper Spanish, I use Dominican Spanish, which is much more crude and simple. It suits me.
[Dr. ] : Is that so, what about when you need to explain proper concepts to your family members perhaps?
[POI-XXXX-1] :When that happens I try to describe it as best as possible, I know that my Spanish isn’t that functional for complex stuff, and it usually works out.

Note : Subject shows minute speech impairment, but overall shows no sign of anomalous traits, and can be considered “human” by all matters in regards to development.
