Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4187 is to be kept in a 10x10x10 meter aluminum steel alloy box with a single 2x3 meter magnetically locked door placed at the entrance to SCP-4187’s containment chamber at Site [REDACTED]. Inside said chamber, are to be normal Class D personnel level living quarters with the exception of having a living room with a table and chairs that are made of stainless steel and firmly bolted to the floor.
Within SCP-4187’s containment A single [REDACTED] will be placed by heavily armored Site personnel with extreme caution every morning at [REDACTED], but no later than 0700.
Whilst pertaining to the guards, level 3 clearance is required and any and all people entering SCP-4187’s cell are required to cover any exposed skin in order to protect themselves from SCP-4187’s effects. They are also to stay well beyond arm’s length of the entity. This excludes test subjects who are purposely put within #4187’s containment chamber.
Description: SCP-4187 is a humanoid being that impersonates a near malnourished Human male of around 1.9 meters in height and around 30 years of age. However, the being that is described by the surviving test subjects, of which will be classified as SCP-4187-2, is a roughly 5-meter-tall humanoid being that is depicted as having veiny and moist blackish brown skin and sharp protruding tendons at the ends of its limbs. This being was found in [REDACTED], Indiana in 19[REDACTED] in the early hours of the morning. SCP-4187 will consistently portray that it is in severe distress, with certain claims to it being one of the following:
• Starving
• Claustrophobic
• Lonely
• Scared
• Wants to go home
• Going to kill itself (at which it is required that a D class personnel be provided to it. If it does not receive anyone at that point, it will begin to brutally harm itself using any means possible)
It has been observed that when SCP-4187 does this, it is a front in order to lure victims into getting within touching distance of it. Should the being touch the victim with at least a small amount of clothing between contact, they will begin to have what can be similarly be described as an epileptic seizure. When the victim wakes up, they describe having horrific and vivid nightmares about being either mutilated, raped, or asphyxiated by SCP-4187-2; this depends entirely upon the victim’s gender. However, should the victim be touched directly on the skin by SCP-4187 they have been observed to physically receive the wounds/actions that they perceive in their nightmares. Should the victim die from this attack, their body will slowly corrode into the same substance that has been described in SCP-4187-2’s appearance. This has happened to [REDACTED] D class personnel.
Addendum: SCP-4187 has recently been observed by Dr. Knottley to change its clothing based upon its most recent victim. As it is currently wearing D-[REDACTED]’s jumpsuit despite the fact that D-[REDACTED] is still wearing his within his cell.

“This has now been my fifth attempt at discovering SCP-4187’s reasons/ability of attacking Humans and it remains adamant that it has no idea what I am talking about. However, when it begins to act up and demand victims, it merely states that it needs them. Perhaps their suffering feeds 4187-2? Further testing is requested.”

“It is currently 0800 hours and 4187 has refused its usual [REDACTED] and insists that all it can think about is pie whilst continuously bashing its cranium against the walls of its containment cell. This is intriguing as it seems to be aware of today’s holiday. Pie and a Class D personnel will be provided to 4187 immediately.”

And when it was asked about its effects on Humans, it answered with hints to the actual answer! I will continue to pursue this momentous breakthrough relentlessly!”

“It has been discovered that SCP-4187 is far more intelligent and manipulative than previously perceived. After what seemed like [REDACTED] of progress, it was revealed for the façade that it really was. It was playing the long game. After convincing me and a few other researchers, including Dr. Cross and Dr. Black, that it wished to have a near face-to-face conversation with it, it used its powers on us and the armed escort with shocking speed and silence. Which led to a major breach in containment of the site and multiple other SCPs of Site [REDACTED]. Future testing will be held off until a date in the far future. I personally recommend that we rethink the classification for 4187. And even the possibility of termination, should it be discovered that 4187 is the only of its kind.”
This was the last journal by Dr. Knottley as there were a number of other breaches made by SCP-4187 at later dates, which claimed [REDACTED] personnel.

It was found that it takes 144 [REDACTED] for the victim of SCP-4187 to full liquidate after their death.

“After the testing with a female class D personnel that had ample amounts of skin showing, she awoke crying and screaming, “It raped me over and over again! That thing! It was just a dream, right? Right?!” It has recently been found that D-[REDACTED] was pregnant and DNA test results show a genetic makeup that we have never seen before. When she began to vomit due to morning sickness, it was found that the regurgitated substance was the same as the substance that victims of SCP-4187 turn into. Further testing of these circumstances are highly suggested.” – Dr. Cross, Assistant Head Researcher

After another testing of the same circumstances as D-[REDACTED] another test subject had the exact same result happen to her. We have decided to label these women as SCP-4187-4 and 5.
Note #4187-25: 04/18/[REDACTED]
When SCP-4187 was given SCP-4187-4 and 5, the same thing occurred however, when a few of the Site personnel went to retrieve them, an unknown force severed both of the personnel’s jugular veins. Further testing on this unknown being is requested and highly suggested by Dr. Knottley and his staff.
