Item #: SCP-4196
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4196 is to be placed in a 25 by 25 ft humanoid containment cell with a 35ft ceiling, a closable bared up skylight, and specially tuned sonic guns in the top corner compartments. During transport never touch the SCP merely direct it via voice command or pointing. If escape attempt happens use a specially tuned sonic gun. No source of any type glass in a 25ft area of it always.
Description: SCP-4196 can change shape to be anything it has the resources for but is normally seen as a genderless 6 feet humanoid. It appears to have normal glass as the first layer (broken and replaced easily, can’t regenerate), bulletproof glass as a second layer (can be replaced and broken, regeneration takes at max. 2 weeks), Red stained glass as circulatory system and will bleed needle shards if damaged (regeneration takes at max. 3 days and at min. 10 minutes), Glass mirror as nervous system(regenerates in ten minutes no matter what), Yellow bulletproof stained glass as skeletal system (regenerates in ten minutes no matter what). The SCP has no facial features other than its eyes, being unblinking glass mirror ovals. It doesn’t appear to have a digestive track nor a respiratory system.
Addendum: It has been seen avoiding wide open places, cities, and towns. All glass sources within a 25 ft range are consumed instantly. SCP-4196 has a type of regeneration growing back whatever damage done. Due to its transparency don’t let it in water its apparently a very good swimmer. SCP-4196 can become intangible but rarely does so, making us believe it is draining but not confirmed. When intangible it either doesn’t or can’t move from its place. If attacked it has many ways to defend itself a few being, creating a bulletproof glass dome, sharp glass pieces, or becoming intangible until attacks cease. Natural light seems to speed up its regeneration. SCP-4196 requires a source of natural light to remain docile and cooperative unless harmed or touched. SCP-4196 refuses to be touched and lashes out whenever an attempt is made. Samples of glass has been collected by merely asking for it. Frequency tests have been used and only breaks the first layer if any even though collected sample pieces have shattered. SCP-4196 has been heard talking, its voice fluctuates, even though it has no visible mouth or vocals and responds to sound even though it has no visible ears. SCP-4196 refuses to speak around other living beings making us believe its voice can be harmful but not confirmed. Questions about itself are ignored entirely.
