SCP-005

Special Containment Procedures:Currently there are no special containment procedures to contain SCP-005 in any of the facilities. Though any trace of the summoning ritual of SCP-005 is to be terminated immediately, no exceptions.

Description: SCP-005 can be described as a tall, European, human-like female with long black hair. It wears an animal skull on its head, covering its face completely. The skull seems to change each time depending on what the summoner wishes for. SCP-005 also seems to wear a modern suit and always has an umbrella, using it as a cane each time it appears.

When SCP-005 is summoned via [REDACTED] it will appear out of a strange portal. The portal seems to lead an alternate dimension of earth. It seems to resemble earth only by buildings and nature but not much else. This dimension seems to be inhabited by hellish creatures unknown to man. These creatures are contained inside the dimension unless SCP-005 specifically calls upon them. Which is when these creatures will come out of their own respected portals.

Once SCP-005 is summoned it will most likely strike up a deal with whatever the subject requests or wants most. After the subject makes a request or agree with what SCP-005 proposes. SCP-005 will attempt to shake the subjects' hand. If the subject is unwilling to do so SCP-005 will respond by saying that if they don't shake its hand the deal is off. If the subject does shake its hand SCP-005 will wish the subject a pleasant day and swiftly leave via another portal.

Soon after the deal is made the deal is fulfilled with whatever the subject had agreed upon with SCP-005. For example, if a user wishes for a loved one to come back to life again the subject will find their loved one back at home. But the deal only lasts for a certain amount of time. This frame of time is subjective to what the subject had wished for. If it is a loved one, the deal will only last until the loved one will die again1, or if it is a power, the power will last to around old age where the subject is almost always on their death bed2. Once that time is up SCP-005 will come back to the subject and will request for them to follow it into the alternate dimension. Any kind of protest or unwillingness to comply with SCP-005's request will be punished by SCP-005 summoning more creatures from their dimension and dragging the person back into the portal.

Incident 005.a

D-class personnel formally known as Katy Smith had preformed the need ritual for SCP-005 to appear. They are briefed about how to perform the ritual and a summary of what SCP-005 is. Katy Smith isn't informed about what will happen to her after the interview. They were instructed by command to request an interview and were told to ask questions written on the paper they were giving. SCP-005 responded as such:

<Begin log>

(After the ritual is performed by Katy Smith and SCP-005 appears from a portal opposite of where Katy is standing.)

Katy Smith O-oh! Uhh- hello.

SCP-005 Hello my dear child, what can I do for you?

Katy Smith Oh! Yeah right. Can I ask you some questions?

(SCP-005 stays quiet for a moment, seemingly surprised by the request.)

SCP-005 You ask for an interview? Are you sure my dear? Don't you want to reconsider?

Katy Smith I just want an interview.

(SCP-005 stays quiet for a moment again and then nods)

SCP-005 Sure my dear! Whatever you want, just hold on for a sec.

(SCP-005 disappears for a few moments inside another portal before two chairs with a table appear from a portal up above. Both chairs and table are observed to be made out of a bloodred type of wood. SCP-005 returns quickly after out of another portal. It is unsure whether the material the chairs and table are made out of is save for usage )

SCP-005 There my dear! Usually, it's a loved one or power that comes through the portal but this will do for your request.

(Katy Smith nods and is instructed to stay cautioned as SCP-005 sits down in a chair opposite to her.)

SCP-005 C'mon my dear, we haven't got all day.

(SCP-005 gestures for Katy to sit down and with some encouragement from management Katy sits down and starts preparing for the interview. She's still visually uncomfortable.)

Katy Smith So, who are you?

(SCP-005 thinks for a short while before answering)

SCP-005 Well I am a nobody.

(Katy Smith is asked to try and get a better explanation)

Katy Smith Would you be so kind as to elaborate on that?

SCP-005 If you please for me to do so. I am a nobody, nobodies are creatures who make deals with the creatures of a dimension. You're my dimension and I make deals with whoever decides to perform the ritual and contact me in this dimension. We don't have a real identity in our dimension so we tend to call ourselves nobodies.

Katy Smith Were you ever human?

(SCP-005 stays quiet for exactly one minute. Possibly thinking about the question.

SCP-005 I- I was mortal or human as you call it but I don't come from the same place you come from. I was a mortal in another dimension, different from yours. Specifically, dimension ██ which is about █ dimensions away from yours. I, much like you made a deal with a person like me, and after my deal was up I became a nobody.

(Katy starts to ask questions that are not written down. Command reminds her that uncooperative behaviour will result in her termination but the D-personnel doesn't seem to hear what command is saying.

Katy Smith How did you become a nobody?

(SCP-005 smirks before answering the question)

SCP-005 I am afraid that answer is confidential.

(Katy stays quiet for a moment looking down toward the paper to read off another question.)

Katy Smith Ummm- How can you teleport between dimensions?

SCP-005 When we become nobodies we get the power to jump between dimensions. Dimension █ y' know the one with all the monsters I can summon. Dimension █ is identical to yours. So when a ritual is performed I move to the identical spot in dimension █ and create a portal to come into your dimension. I guess you could say I use it as a hub of sorts.

Katy Smith Why do you grant the wishes of others?

SCP-005 Well, I am a worker, just like most other people. I am asked to deliver and I do. And I'm ordered to deliver souls. Your souls can only be taken by making a deal. A little like the devil, y' know?

Katy Smith O-our souls?

SCP-005 Yeah, your humanity, personality, knowledge and all that stuff together is what we classify as a soul.

(Katy starts getting visibly upset)

Katy Smith Why do you need our souls?

SCP-005 That's confidential.

(SCP-005 starts to get agitated and Katy is told to move on)

Katy Smith Fine, I think this interview is over.

(Katy Smith ends the interview with protest from command.)

SCP-005 Good, let's get going then.

(SCP-005 opens a portal to dimension █ and gestures to Katy Smith)

Katy Smith Very funny, but I'm not going with you bud.

(SCP-005 gets more agitated and a security team is sent in to retrieve the class D personnel.)

SCP-005 You want to do it like that? Fine.

(SCP-005 disappears into the portal. Exactly 4.3 seconds later three small portals open inside the room and multiple SCP-005-As' jump out. Security team opens fire but all personnel inside the room is slaughter by SCP-005-A and Katy Smith is dragged into a portal to dimension █. The experiment is shut down and clean up crew has been sent in.)

<End log>

After the interview, the clean-up squad found blood that wasn't identifiable. This is likely the blood of SCP-005-A, making it clear that the creatures can be wounded. It is unclear whether or not the bullet wounds affected SCP-005-A in any shape or form.

UPDATE

From now on the dimension in which SCP-005 resides will be called SCP-005-D and any further documentation will refer to it as SCP-005-D.

Furthermore, an SCP-005-A has been killed and is now undergoing extensive research. More updates will come along the file.

Expedition SCP-005-D

On █/█/████ at ████ a Dr Hughes performed the needed ritual to summon SCP-005. Which then soon after SCP-005 appeared on the other side of the room. SCP-005 seemed a little agitated likely from a previous encounter with the facility. Dr Hughes requested that he along with a small exploration team were to be allowed into SCP-005-D for research. SCP-005 agreed with the deal but said there were to be no more then six people and their safety inside SCP-005-D was not granted. Dr Hughes agreed with the deal and was granted passage into SCP-005-D along with five other personnel. The portal was opened by SCP-005 and stayed open until all alive personnel (excluding Dr Hughes) had left SCP-005-D. No other personnel were to enter SCP-005-D no matter what. If anybody who wasn't part of the expedition team did enter SCP-005-D. The portal would close immediately without warning.

After two weeks of radio silence, two of the six personnel escaped SCP-005-D Dr Hughes was at the exit as well but not allowed to leave due to the deal he had made with SCP-005. Before Dr Hughes left the entrance portal he gave security personnel his personal logs. Most of the data were still intact, although a few files seemed to be uncompleted due to outside forces beyond Dr Hughes his control.

below are the remaining logs

Personal log: Day 1 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
Today we're finally exploring SCP-005-D. I made a deal with SCP-005 to allow us to enter it. I can't believe that thing agreed with the deal. It was a long shot but that thing seems to grant anything you want! Many people around me doubted that SCP-005 would allow us to enter since this could potentially expose weaknesses and secrets of SCP-005. But it was completely compliant!

Although, it put a limit on how many people would come with me. Only five others can join me on my expedition and it guaranteed no safety. I can't say I am a little nervous but I am more excited than ever! To be able to explore a new world resembling ours!

I'm taking another researcher with me, two D-class personnel and two security officers with me. The D-class personnel are most here to carry all of the equipment but all of us will be carrying some form of luggage. I can't say how long we'll be in there but I am assuming at least a week or two so we're packing about a month of food with us if we eat is carefully but I don't think we'll be out for that long.

Personal log: Day 2 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
The second day of exploring SCP-005-D. Not much action but SCP-005-D is an amazing dimension! The sky is pale red and seems to have no sun. It just becomes dark and light every 12 hours. The ground is made out of grey material and is hard as shit. We tried drilling into the ground for about an hour before we gave up. It doesn't appear to be metal since the ground isn't reflective or cold. It's actually pretty warm when you touch it with your bare hands.

The buildings are also made out of grey material. All the buildings we've been in so far don't have any inside walls. They're just big empty rooms, there do seem to be stairs leading up towards the next floors though. When we entered the portal for the first time it was completely dark. Thankfully SCP-005 was with us at that time so it told us to turn our lights on and "Follow her". When we did eventually turn our lights on we were in a large hall. Likely the size of the actual facility. We heard some noises but SCP-005 said to ignore them and not wander off into the darkness. Once we had managed to get outside via many, many, many stairs SCP-005 bid us farewell and to be careful now since "The hounds can get you now". We just nodded and moved on.

Climate is also warmer than expected. It's about 19 ℃ here. I had to remove my jacket because it was to warm. There also seems to be no wind inside here so there isn't a cool breeze to cool you down. I don't know how SCP-005 can walk around here in a suit all day long!

Speaking of SCP-005, we have seen it multiple times. Not a lot but noticeable enough, every so often you can see somebody walking in the distance and it seems to be SCP-005. I don't think there is one SCP-005 anymore, I think there are hundreds maybe even thousands of SCP-005 in this dimension. I wonder if they know we're here?

Personal log: Day 3 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
Day Three of our expedition. I got to learn about the crew today, not that it really matters but we didn't do much today. Just walking through the empty planes since the facility is so isolated from the world. There aren't any vehicles so we'll have to walk. But I'm sure that by tomorrow we'll be nearing a town.

So about the crew. We got the other researcher, she calls herself Chip. I don't know if that's an inside joke I'm not a part of but I like it. She's very caring even towards the D personnel. I can't say I'm the same but we get along quite well. Since she's as fascinated as me about this dimension.
Then we got the two security officers. They're friends of each other and are called officers Russel and officer Ross. Funny how their names are so similar.
And last we have the two D personnel. I haven't talked much to them since they stay more at the end of the group and I stay front. I can't complain really, I'm just not fond of people like that.

Personal log: Day 4 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
I'm starting to think this world is larger. We still haven't come near any structure. We haven't seen SCP-005 in a while either. It feels like we're in some kind of dead zone but I'm unsure. Ross said he spotted some buildings not too far from our campsite but it's too late to go there. At least that's what Russel said. I think he saw something inside the facility the first day but I can't get close to him. I asked Ross to ask him what's going on but even he couldn't get through to Russel. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Personal log: Day 5 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
So we finally made it into town, it only took four days to get there! We haven't kept up with how far we are from the facility but we did place a beacon at the entrance of the facility so we don't lose sight of it. It says were only 9.3 km away from the facility, that should only take an hour to reach. Either its part of the dimension or something is messing with us. Maybe it's SCP-005 or SCP-005-A but we haven't since we entered that dead zone.

For anybody still wondering if the town is any different from the facility, you'll be disappointed. Everything is still grey and made out of an unknown material. The buildings here are also completely hollow if you don't count stairs and flooring. There aren't even windows! Just large square holes in the wall. Even with the windows, the inside of the buildings is extremely dark. Russel says to stay out of the dark. We asked him why and this time Russel talked.

One of the D personnel did go into the dark. I think she wanted to die now I'm thinking about it. When she went into the dark we suddenly heard loud growls. We tried to rush towards the class D but Russel pushed us out of the building. For around two minutes we heard the screams of the D class before we had to listen to ten minutes of disgusting chewing noises and grunts emitting from the building. None of us dared to go back into the building again. We're setting up camp outside of the city since it seems those things can't go much out into the light. At least I assume so. Else we would already be dead by now.

Personal log: Day 6 - Hughes William - Expedition SCP-005-D
Last night after I ended my log we talked about yesterday. We're all traumatized and Chip and Ross suggested to head back. I can't say I wasn't baffled by Chip wanting to go home but I could understand why. I didn't care, I was going to die out here. The only difference was when. But when Chips and Ross even suggested going back Russel snapped. "There are hundreds of those things back at the facility! We can't fucking go back! That thing has trapped us here and it's just feeding us to the fuckin' hounds!" He claimed and I for once thought about what the officer had said. He'd always joke about stuff even when he was afraid. But now he was a trembling mess unwilling to admit that this was likely his death bed.

The rest of the night went quietly. Although, we could hear the occasional murmur coming from the town. I think we got lucky. I think because of that D class dying those creatures wouldn't come out to hunt. Now that I'm thinking about it. Those creatures are likely SCP-005-A. They at least sounded like it. I haven't seen their shape up close yet, but to be honest. I don't think I want to.

For the rest of the day, we set a goal for ourselves. Find SCP-005 and one of us make a deal with it to return us to the facility safely. We suggested that whoever found SCP-005 first will make the deal. Meaning that one of them had to go with me. We set up another beacon at our base and gave everybody a tracker so they wouldn't get lost. Ross suggested that the D-personnel goes with me so they don't run off somewhere. Reluctantly I agreed because why wouldn't I?

For the rest of the day, we walked along the hills. I think we saw SCP-005 a few times but too far to reach in time. Whilst walking for the whole day I got to know the D-class. He's called Adam and killed his family along time ago. He said he regretted it but only because he hated this place so much. I honestly can't blame him. I asked him if he knew the woman that was killed by SCP-005-A. He said he knew her a little but only from the briefing, they got together before starting this mission. He said she was part of the facility for about two years. She seemed cheery at the briefing but when the mission started she seemed dreadful, Adam claimed.

I think she planned this out, just like me.

Personal log: Day 9 - Hughes William
Sorry- I didn't have the time to update this. Shit just really hit the fan around two days ago. We lost Chip on day 7 to one of those fucking things. Adam and I were closest but we could only hear her screams and the fucking horde of those dogs. The only thing I can confirm is that the creatures are SCP-005-A. But I don't think it fucking matters any more. Those things came running out of the shadows like a fucking stampede. We could see the steam coming off of those things, likely because they can't stay in the light for very long. The stampede B-lined it for Chip. We tried to yell at her to run but she couldn't hear us.

The next thing we saw was Chip disappearing in a horde of smoke and black dog-like creatures. We heard her screams and we wanted to help but we couldn't. What help could we give? What could we do? Fucking nothing, that's what we could do.

After that incident, we decided to head back towards the facility. We don't want to risk another horde heading our way. Except, I guess we are risking another horde since we're heading to another breeding nest for those things.

Nobody is talking anymore. I think we all want to go home.

Day 13, we're almost there. Almost at the facility. Which means I'll be alone soon. I guess I should explain myself now. Why the fuck did I make this deal? I think it was because I'm so fucking lonely. I lost my wife and son a long fucking time ago and now I work every day and night without a break. I've got fucking nothing and I guess this is a way of realising me from this hell. I don't think I want to live but I'm too afraid to fucking die.
