Special Containment Procedures: Site 87 is to be maintained around SCP-4109’s point of discovery. Since SCP-4109 has been self contained upon discovery personal can only enter SCP-4109 with the permission of Level 3 personnel. All time in direct contact or observance of SCP-4109 must be kep at an absolute minimum, in order to not form any instances of SCP-4109. SCP-4109 is to kept at a temperature -60 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures above 23 degrees Fahrenheit are to be deemed a breach and Protocol 10 “Buffalo Bifröst ” is to be enacted (See: Addendum 1). At no point is water to enter SCP-4109’s containment area. Extractions of SCP-4109 or SCP-4109-1 are to be sent to Site 87 for research purposes only. It is advised that said extractions of SCP-4109 and SCP-4109-1 be returned to its point of discovery when possible.
Description: SCP-4109 refers to all water ice discovered or added at the coordinates ██ N and ██ W in ████, Nebraska. Without human or liquid interaction, SCP-4109 displays no anomalous properties other than a unusually strong resistance to melting, or other forms of exposure. SCP-4109 is completely pure, water despite the conditions it was found in. Any liquid water, pure or unsure, put into contact with SCP-4109 instantaneously purifies and is from that point considered apart of SCP-4109.
