Item #: SCP-RCRM
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Centerpoint Park is to be closed under the guise of landscaping renovations on the nights of July 17th, 19th, 20th, 25th, and 26th every year. During those nights, Foundation agents are to be disguised as construction workers and instructed to patrol the exterior of Centerpoint Park in order to dissuade unauthorized persons from attempting to enter the park.
In the event that an unauthorized person enters Centerpoint Park during the designated closure times and comes into contact with either SCP-RCRM-A or SCP-RCRM-B, they are to be apprehended and administered Class-A amnestics, before being released outside of the park.
Description: SCP-RCRM is a self-contained1 temporal loop affecting Centerpoint Park in Nashville, Tenessee, USA. The temporal loop begins at 7:15 pm local time on July the 17th and ends at 2:41 am local time on July the 26th. The event occurs yearly and have been documented since 1964. It is unknown when exactly SCP-RCRM first began to manifest, though it is theorized to have been between 1949 and 1961. Within the popular culture of Nashville, Tenessee, Centerpoint Park is an unofficial location for 'lost lovers' to reconnect and is visited by over 2,000 unique individuals per day.
SCP-RCRM involves two entities, a man and a woman, designated SCP-RCRM-A and SCP-RCRM-B respectively. SCP-RCRM-A and -B are dressed in clothing resembling the popular style of the late 1950s. SCP-RCRM-A and -B will manifest during 5 nights in the month of July. During this time, they will proceed to meander throughout the park while talking. Coming within 5 meters of SCP-RCRM-A and -B will cause them to demanifest until the next night in the cycle. Attempting to discern exactly what is being said also yields the same result2. It does not appear that interrupting SCP-RCRM has any effect on the rest of its cycle.
It appears that while SCP-RCRM-B will begin every manifestation in the same way, SCP-RCRM-A will act differently. It is currently unknown whether SCP-RCRM-A and -B are aware of their cyclical nature, though SCP-RCRM-A has occasionally displayed behavior similar to that of pleading with SCP-RCRM-B, and seems to be faintly aware of his imminent demanifestation, displaying symptoms of anxiety and paranoia prior to doing so.
Event Logs:
Date: July 17th, 1992 Event
Time: 7:15 pm Local Time
Event: SCP-RCRM-A and SCP-RCRM-B manifest near the main entrance of Centerpoint Park and proceed to slowly walk down the main path. RCRM-A and RCRM-B appear to be cheerful and laugh often. After 10 minutes of walking and talking, RCRM-A and RCRM-B sit on a bench and continue to talk. They talk for another 60 minutes, after which they stand and depart with a hug and a kiss on RCRM-B's cheek, before spontaneously demanifesting.
Date: July 19th, 1992 Event
Time: 6:30 pm Local Time
Event: SCP-RCRM-A and SCP-RCRM-B manifest near the main entrance of Centerpoint Park and embrace, before joining arms and walking down the main path. Special Containment Procedures:
Description:
Item #: SCP-HMSK
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-HMSK paintings are to be kept in a climate controlled cooler in order to prevent deterioration. Testing, experimentation, or other use involving SCP-HMSK can be initiated by personnel with a clearance level of 2 or higher.
Description: SCP-HMSK is the collective designation of 7 oil paintings (SCP-HMSK-A through SCP-HMSK-H) by the realism artist Antonio Russo. The paintings are a series titled "Ricordi Del Mondo Precedente" (translation: "Memories Of The Previous World") which were painted following Antonio Russo's immigration to New York, USA, in 1847. Dating of the paintings indicates that they were painted between 1855 and 1875. All 7 of the paintings depict various areas of Genoa, Italy, the birthplace of Antonio Russo.
The anomalous effects of SCP-HMSK paintings manifest when a human is within 1.5 meters and is actively observing one of the paintings. When these criteria are met, the individual will begin to experience auditory and olfactory hallucinations analogous to the subject matter of the painting. The intensity of hallucinations has been reported to grow stronger the longer an individual is observing the painting.
Observation Logs:
Painting Description: SCP-HMSK-C depicts a marketplace where various plants are being sold.
Setup: D-98019 is placed in front of SCP-HMSK-C as instructed to report what he is experiencing.
Results: D-98019 reports that he can smell flowers of some sort, as well as the faint scent of fruit. D-98019 also reports that he can hear what sounds like people talking, and the sound of a broom being brushed across stone.
Notes: N/A
Painting Description: SCP-HMSK-E depicts a tree with a house behind it.
Setup: D-17282 is placed in front of SCP-HMSK-E as instructed to report what she is experiencing.
Results: D-17282 reports that she can hear the sounds of the leaves rustling on the tree, and can smell manure.
Notes: N/A
Painting Description: SCP-HMSK-H depicts a room inside of a building. Within the room is period-appropriate furniture for a bedroom.
Setup: D-64801 is placed in front of SCP-HMSK-H as instructed to report what she is experiencing.
Results: D-64801 reports that he can faintly smell mildew. After 1 minute, D-64801 reports that he can hear what sounds like a conversation between 2 people, a man and a woman. Though he can speak Italian, he does note that he repeatedly hears the name "Antonio" mentioned.
Notes: Subsequent tests utilizing personnel who understand Italian have been unsuccessful, as the conversation between the man and the women was never heard again.
Addendum HMSK.1: On 5/26/1974, the Foundation conducted a search of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA. As part of the search, Foundation personnel examined texts written by Antonio Russo which referred to SCP-HMSK. Among the texts, the following was found. (The following text has been translated from Italian into English.)
When I paint, I feel what I am painting. Each stroke of my brush is a step toward completion, not only of my painting but of a new piece of myself. I only wish I could share my artwork with my family. I often stir in my bed, wondering what they are doing. Looking out my bedroom window, I wish only that I could see the rolling hills of Genoa instead of the stone behemoths of this city. When I paint, I feel emotions I've never felt before. When I look into my paintings, I feel like I am home.

Description:
Item #: SCP-AGNH
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Provisional Site AGNH has been constructed around SCP-AGNH to serve as its containment facility. Provisional Site AGNH consists of a perimeter fence, personnel quarters, and 2 research buildings.
Plants within SCP-AGNH are to be watered according to each species' requirements, and adequate sunlight should be able to reach all of the plants within. If necessary, UV lamps can be placed on the outside of SCP-AGNH facing in. Personnel permitted to enter SCP-AGNH are to conduct equipment checks before and after entering the structure to ensure no objects are left within.
In the event that an unauthorized object is left within SCP-AGNH, containment teams are to extract the object as quickly as possible. Necessary force is to be used, though teams should attempt to limit as much damage to the structure as possible.
Description: SCP-AGNH is a 47 square meter greenhouse located in southwestern Iowa. Within SCP-AGNH are various species of potted flora, either hanging from hooks attached to the ceiling or resting on tables or shelves. Written on the outside of SCP-AGNH in black paint are 8 glyphs of unknown meaning and origin3.
When a foreign object4 is introduced to SCP-AGNH, the plants within will begin to exhibit some of the properties of the object.5 The means by which SCP-AGNH chooses which properties to gain is currently unknown. Over the course of approximately 12 hours, SCP-AGNH plants will change their properties to match those of the introduced object. If given enough time, the properties of plants within SCP-AGNH can match those of the introduced objects.
Upon the removal of the foreign object, SCP-AGNH plants will return to their original states over the course of 4-6 hours. Plants which die within SCP-AGNH will no longer exhibit their anomalous properties. In the event that an adapted plant is removed from SCP-AGNH, it will decay similarly to non-anomalous plants, albeit at a much faster rate. Plants introduced to SCP-AGNH will not be mimicked; instead, they will behave like plants already within SCP-AGNH.
Experiment Logs:
Test #: AGNH-01-672001
Setup: A 1 meter portion of a standard steel I-Beam is placed within SCP-AGNH and left for 9 hours.
Results: The tensile strength of all plants within SCP-AGNH increased by a factor of 10 and the colors of the plants shifted towards that of the I-Beam.
Test #: AGNH-02-672001
Setup: A 0.25 m3 block of ice is placed within a container and then into SCP-AGNH and left for 7 hours.
Results: Over the course of the preliminary 6 hours, the plants within SCP-AGNH gained some of the properties of the ice. As the ice melted, the molecules making up the plants detached from their structures through unknown means and behaved like a liquid. When the water was removed, the pools of plant material reformed into their pre-experiment forms.
Test #: AGNH-03-692001
Setup: A laboratory mouse (Mus musculus) is placed within SCP-AGNH and left for 7 hours.
Results: After 5 hours, SCP-AGNH plants developed structures containing photoreceptor cells which emanate from various locations on their stems. After 6 hours, plants developed funnel-like structures which resemble the ears of the laboratory mouse which emanate from various locations on their stems, though no further structures were observed.
Test #: AGNH-04-6112001
Setup: D-80801, a 32-year-old Caucasian male, was placed within SCP-AGNH and instructed to sit and wait until further notice.
Results: After 9 hours, SCP-AGNH plants had developed complex and fully-functional visual, auditory, and somatic 'organs' across all structures of the plants. After 10 hours, SCP-AGNH plants began to develop muscular structures, allowing them to move their stems and stem branches. After 11 hours, D-80801 was instructed to remove an ocular organ from one of the plants. While attempting to do this, the plant in question wrapped an extraneous vine around D-80801's neck and strangled him to death. Following the death of D-80801, plants within SCP-AGNH became inert and began to imitate decaying flesh in a manner similar to that of D-80801's body.
Item #: SCP-ICIT
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Blue ●
Special Containment Procedures: Members of SCP-ICIT are currently held in a 25m x 25m artificial environment chamber built to resemble their native habitat of the Pacific Northwest, USA. Infrared and normal color vision cameras are to be maintained within the SCP-ICIT enclosure to monitor the positions of SCP-ICIT members.
At least once a month, SCP-ICIT members are to be transferred to temporary holding chambers containing a minimum of 10 liters of open water per member while the environment chamber is cleaned.
During this time, various small amphibians, reptiles, and rodents are to be introduced to the enclosure6, along with enough insects to maintain these populations until the next cleaning period.
Description: SCP-ICIT is an amphibious species of cephalopod most closely related to the white-spotted octopus (Callistoctopus macropus). The main physiological differences between SCP-ICIT and C. macropus are the presence of sharp tongue-like appendages residing within the beak and the lack of a mantle; organs which would normally be located within the mantle of an octopus are instead distributed throughout the head, body, and bases of tentacles. SCP-ICIT display advanced camouflaging capabilities similar to those of the mimic octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus), preferring to camouflage as strewn fabrics7. There are currently 9 members of SCP-ICIT in containment.
Similarly to most cephalopods, SCP-ICIT produce and store dark blue ink (designated SCP-ICIT-1) in an ink sack located within the body. Unlike other cephalopods, who use their ink in a defensive/evasive manner, SCP-ICIT use their ink to procure a reproductive host. SCP-ICIT-1 displays its anomalous properties once 1 ml8 has been ingested by a human subject. Following ingestion, SCP-ICIT-1 is diluted into the bloodstream of the subject, eventually making its way to the brain and adhering to it through unknown means.

Brain scans of D-72920 showing a decrease in glucose metabolism before and after exposure to SCP-ICIT-1.
Over the course of one week, neural connections in the brains of subjects will deteriorate in strength and number the more they are used, a process which accelerates exponentially until the subject has lost all sense of subjective self-identity and consciously recalled memories. Following this deterioration, subjects enter a catatonic state, becoming unresponsive to stimuli. In the wild, SCP-ICIT then use their tongue-like appendages to puncture the thin bone in the rear of the ocular cavity and lay a clutch of 100-1259 eggs. SCP-ICIT eggs do not appear to need sperm to become fertilized. Because of this, it is believed that SCP-ICIT are asexual in nature.
If a subject is removed from SCP-ICIT access and SCP-ICIT-1 allowed to run its course, partial recovery of brain functions is possible. Post recovery, SCP-ICIT-1 victims exhibit ongoing signs of confusion, fear, and mild paranoia. Though subjects are unable to speak immediately after recovery, reconditioning can lead to the recollection of concepts (both abstract and concrete) and speech over the course of 1-2 weeks.
In the wild, SCP-ICIT have been observed to occupy homes lived in by persons numbering between 1 and 510. After entering a home, SCP-ICIT proceed to secrete SCP-ICIT-1 onto/into various food items around the house. During the onset of SCP-ICIT-1's effects, SCP-ICIT will strategically place photos and other items with significant personal meaning to the victim(s) in locations within the house where it has observed them looking. Due to its amphibious nature, SCP-ICIT will periodically douse itself with water, be it from a toilet, sink, shower, or natural body of water.
Addendum ICIT.1: ICIT Testing Logs
Foreword: The following are tests performed on SCP-ICIT to determine the extent to which various mental conditions affect it.
Test | Setup | Results | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
ICIT-A | D-72920, who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, depression, and general anxiety disorder, was administered 5 ml of SCP-ICIT-1. After SCP-ICIT-1 had run its course, SCP-ICIT was allowed to extract it. | No noticeable change in SCP-ICIT's behavior was observed. | It does not appear that SCP-ICIT is susceptible to non-anomalous mental disorders. -Senior Researcher Larange |
ICIT-B | D-66259, who had been exposed to SCP-1256, was administered 5 ml of SCP-ICIT-1. After SCP-ICIT-1 had run its course, SCP-ICIT was allowed to extract it. | When presented with a hive of Honey Bees (Apis lithohermaea), SCP-ICIT secreted SCP-ICIT-1 into the hive. No changes in the behavior of SCP-ICIT or the bees were observed. Additionally, D-66259 was no longer affected by SCP-1256. | It appears that being human isn't a factor to SCP-ICIT, but rather it's the sentience of a subject that matters. -Senior Researcher Larange |
ICIT-C | D-91822, who had been exposed to SCP-████, was administered 5 ml of SCP-ICIT-1. After SCP-ICIT-1 had run its course, SCP-ICIT was allowed to extract it. | Immediately after reabsorption of SCP-ICIT-1, SCP-ICIT began violently convulsing. After 2 minutes, SCP-ICIT vomited out 15 ml of SCP-ICIT-1. | I've decided to not allow any additional tests on SCP-ICIT involving cognitohazards. Remember, our job is just as much to protect these anomalies as it is to study them. -Senior Researcher Larange |
Addendum ICIT.2: ICIT-1 Testing Logs
Foreword: The following are tests performed on D-Class personnel subjected to SCP-ICIT-1 to determine the extent which specific memories could be erased.
Test | Setup | Results | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
ICIT-D | D-73627 was administered 5 ml of SCP-ICIT-1 and placed in a testing chamber equipped with a projector. Upon the onset of SCP-ICIT's effects, images of D-73627's family were projected onto the wall. D-73627 was instructed to examine his current relationships with the individuals presented. After 10 hours, D-73627's brain was flushed with CGF-650. | D-73627 reported that he could not recall who the individuals pictured were, but claimed to have a faint recognition of them. Additionally, D-73627 had forgotten various details about the Foundation, specifically previous tests in which he had been involved. | While technically a success, further refining of our methods is required for better results. -Senior Researcher Larange |
ICIT-E | D-99105 was administered 10 ml of SCP-ICIT-1 and placed in a testing chamber equipped with a projector. Upon the onset of SCP-ICIT-1's effects, images of D-99105's hometown were projected onto the wall. D-99105 was instructed at this time to recall his experiences in the town. After 15 hours, D-99105's brain was flushed with CGF-650. | D-99105 was unable to answer the question of where he was born. When shown some of the same pictures from earlier, he showed no sign of recognizing where they had been taken. Additionally, D-99105 had also forgotten all information regarding the Foundation, as well as various other experiences that had led to him entering service for the Foundation. | We're making progress, but we're having issues isolating only the memories we want the subjects to think about. Any proposed solutions are welcome. -Senior Researcher Larange |
ICIT-F | D-18827 was administered 10 ml of SCP-ICIT-1 and placed in a testing chamber equipped with a projector. Upon the onset of SCP-ICIT-1's effects, D-18827 was placed under a Class-A Hypnotic, and pictures of the Earth were projected onto the wall. D-18827 was instructed to examine the photographs and ponder the nature of the Earth. After 15 hours, D-18827's brain was flushed with CGF-650 and she was released from the hypnosis. | D-18827 reported no knowledge of the Earth, including what it is, what it is made of, and where it is. Seemingly, no other memories (aside from those which . directly involve the concept of Earth) were affected. | I am proud to say that we have successfully isolated and erased specific memories in test subjects. The possibility for this anomaly to be put to use reducing the effects of dangerous infohazards / cognitohazards with very little collateral damage cannot be overstated. I'll put in a request to re-classify SCP-ICIT as Thaumiel. Until then, I'd like to run tests involving a delayed onset agent being added to the solution. -Senior Researcher Larange |

Addendum ICIT.3: Lethe Protocol Outline
SCP Foundation Proposal Document
Markus Lance Dalton
Site-64 Senior Researcher
6/10/21TO: The Overseer Council
FROM: Markus Dalton and the ICIT Research Team
SUBJECT: Lethe ProtocolDescription: The Lethe Protocol would be a Foundation-wide revamping of the internal amnestication program. Current amnestics are imprecise and erase memory indiscriminately, causing swathes of collateral damage to the subject. Testing of SCP-ICIT-1 has yielded promising results regarding a new class of amnestics, one that is precise in the erasure of memories no matter how long ago they occurred.
This new amnestic could be put to use in the monthly D-Class memory wipes, as with the current method, all knowledge of the Foundation is removed from these personnel, requiring them to be re-taught Foundation protocol after every wipe. New amnestication methods, which target only specific desired memories, could drastically cut down on the resources put into this program.
Additionally, the amnestication of personnel to be reintroduced into society could benefit from a similar revamp, as current methods leave subjects with potentially years of their lives lost, causing undue damage to their personal lives. The reintroduction of personnel lacking large portions of their lives does nothing but fuel conspiracy theorists and others which seek to expose the Foundation to the public.
Closing Statement: The potential of SCP-ICIT-1 use on a large scale has been demonstrated during research into its effects. An accurate amnestic could drastically increase the efficiency of Foundation protocols and aid in the prevention of broken masquerade scenarios. We ask that you consider this proposal and enact it if deemed promising.

Item #: SCP-8801-J
Object Class: Safe
Threat Level: Black
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8801-J is to be kept in a minimum security containment chamber at Site-19. Due to its unconfirmed anomalous properties, a camera feed of the interior of SCP-8801-J's containment chamber is to be monitored 24/7. Testing or other use regarding SCP-8801-J is only to be carried out by personnel with clearance Level-4 or higher with permission from the Director of Site-19.
In the event that SCP-8801-J's anomalous properties are confirmed, it is to be immediately transferred into a maximum security containment chamber and re-classified as Keter.
Description: SCP-8801-J is an unmarked can composed of tin-coated steel. SCP-8801-J measures ~25.5 cm tall and ~14.7 cm in diameter. Within SCP-8801-J is a viscous red liquid of unknown composition.
SCP-8801-J was given to the Foundation by members of Marshall, Carter and Dark. Attached to SCP-8801-J was a note that read as follows:
This object is extremely dangerous. In our preliminary testing of the object, it infected many of our respected researchers and contaminated an entire facility. We fear this object has unleashed something terrible into this world, and we are hopeless to defeat it. We trust that you, the SCP Foundation, can quickly and effectively contain this monstrous entity.
To summon the entity, all you must do is create a ring of 15 personnel and have each of them drink at least 10 mL of its contents. There is no time to waste, if you are unable to contain this, then god help us all.
-MC&D Lead Staff
The first round of testing began shortly after obtaining SCP-8801-J. 15 D-Class personnel were placed in a standard testing chamber and instructed to stand in a ring. After subjects consumed 10 mL of SCP-8801-J's contents, researchers observed. No anomalous properties were observed in subjects until 2 weeks after initial ingestion.
During a routine mental baseline test of SCP-8801-J subjects, it was observed that the mental proficiency and attention spans of 13 of the 15 subjects had dramatically worsened. After another week, 12 of the subjects had expired from an unknown ailment. Testing is currently ongoing to determine the cause of SCP-8801-J's negative effects.
Addendum 8801-J.1:
"Wait a minute, isn't this just lead-based paint?" -Site-19 Lead Researcher Markus Dalton
Item #: SCP-HMSS
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Web-crawlers are to monitor social media for any mentions of SCP-HMSS instances. Should SCP-HMSS appear anywhere on the internet, the offending post will be removed. In the event that an Instance of SCP-HMSS is too widely seen, counter-articles are too be posted claiming that the instance, is an actor filming a movie, a comedian doing an act, or a social experiment.

An instance of SCP-HMSS (Image taken 4/7/2002)
Description: SCP-HMSS is the Secret Intelligence Service, otherwise known as MI6. SCP-HMSS currently consists of 67 entities which are visually indistinguishable from the current Queen of England, Elizabeth II. SCP-HMSS instances display behavior consistent with that of the training of British Army personnel and engage in activities which the real Queen Elizabeth II could not physically do. New SCP-HMSS instances manifest when Elizabeth II's life is directly or indirectly threatened by a human assailant. When this criterion is met, an SCP-HMSS instance manifests at a seemingly random location on the island of Great Britain.
In the event that a new SCP-HMSS instance manifests fewer than 100 km from Queen Elizabeth's current location, a baby-blue 1953 Aston Martin automobile will materialize parked on the side of the nearest road. Upon entering the automobile, the SCP-HMSS instance will drive at speeds exceeding 150 km/h on the fastest route to the Queen's whereabouts.
In the event that a new SCP-HMSS instance manifests farther than 100 km from Queen Elizabeth's current location, an F-35 Lightning II helicopter will also manifest in the nearest clear area with enough room to house the aircraft. Upon entering the aircraft, the instance will proceed to take off and fly towards Elizabeth II. When the instance is directly above Elizabeth II, it will jump out of the helicopter while a parachute materializes on its back. Upon the activation of the parachute, the instance will proceed to direct itself to a clearing and land.
When an instance of SCP-HMSS reaches Queen Elizabeth II, it will spontaneously materialize various weapons11 and assault the assailant which threatens the life of the Queen. After the assailant has ceased its aggressive behavior, whether through death or from being subdued, the SCP-HMSS instance will locate and join the existing SCP-HMSS instances as an MI6 agent. If an SCP-HMSS cannot successfully subdue an assailant, an existing instance will leave the MI6 headquarters and continue where the previous instance left off.
If a new instance of SCP-HMSS it contained, an additional instance will manifest somewhere in Great Britain and perform the duties of the contained instance. To date, attempts to contain all of SCP-HMSS instances have resulted in failure. Seemingly with some form of pre-cognition prior to all containment attempts, the real Queen Elizabeth II hid among SCP-HMSS instances, preventing Foundation personnel from engaging in any tactics which would put any of the instances in harm's way.

Object Class: Safe
Threat Level: Yellow
Special Containment Procedures:
Description:
Item #: SCP-TMCN
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Green
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-TMCN's size and defensive behavior, containment is currently not feasible. SCP-TMCN is to be tracked through the use of a GPS tracker attached to its tail. Were SCP-TMCN to move within 75 miles of the coast of a populated area, one Foundation submarine is to be deployed from the nearest naval facility and attempt to guide it back to deeper waters by producing 125,000 Hz sounds from speakers attached to the vessel, causing SCP-TMCN to flee the area.
In the event that SCP-TMCN is able to surface near a coastal community, it is to be reported as being an experimental submarine. Civilian reports of SCP-TMCN are to be intercepted and blocked in order to prevent a worldwide BK-Class in-plain-sight scenario.
Description: SCP-TMCN is a aquatic mechanical structure measuring 50 m x 15 m resembling a Humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae). The outer layer of SCP-TMCN is composed of a corroded steel/nickel alloy of unknown origin and age which, when damaged, will rapidly return to its pre-damaged state. The outer shell of SCP-TMCN is made up of many layered plates, most numerous around the caudal peduncle, allowing the body to curl and rotate slightly.
Attempts to determine the inner composition of SCP-TMCN from the outside have resulted in contradictory readings of the interior structure, specifically that the interior was larger than the exterior would suggest (See Addendum TMCN.1 for details).
Roughly 1/3 of the distance between the head and tail is a hinge which allows the "mouth" of SCP-TMCN to open and close. Also attached to the body through hinges are the pectoral fins, which can rotate more than 190 degrees. Two dark glass domes are present near the front end of SCP-TMCN, seemingly imitating eyes.
Despite its mechanical nature, SCP-TMCN does not appear to need fuel of any kind, though it does possess a blowhole, and surfaces every ~20 minutes to intake air. When not surfacing, SCP-TMCN stays at a depth of between 50 meters and 125 meters, where it idly swims at a speed of 11 km per hour.
SCP-TMCN exhibits behavior virtually identicle to that of real M. novaeangilae, with the notable exception being its migration patterns. Tracking of SCP-TMCN has shown it to typically roam the northern Atlantic Ocean, though it has been observed to occasionally cross the Gibraltar strait and enter the Mediterranean Sea, where it spends up to 3 months traveling to the coast of Jaffa, Israel, before surfacing for a short time, diving back down to a depth of 50 m, and returning to the Atlantic Ocean.
Addendum TMCN.1:
Foreword: On █/██/██, D-73836 was equipped with standard Foundation deep diving gear and deployed from the SCPF Sanctus, a submarine which had been monitoring SCP-TMCN at the time. D-73836 was instructed to swim towards the mouth of SCP-TMCN and enter it. The Following is a transcript of events shown through D-73836's camera feed:
Camera activates, flickers to view. D-73836 is approaching SCP-TMCN. As D-73836 comes within 10 meters of SCP-TMCN's 'mouth', it opens, and D-73836 enters. D-73836 turns and sees SCP-TMCN's mouth close behind him. D-37836 activates head-mounted flashlight, lighting up the area. SCP-TMCN's oral cavity is vacated of water and the sound of rushing air can be heard. D-73836 makes note of the rubber-like material that SCP-TMCN's 'tongue' is made of.
D-73836 detaches flippers and attaches them to his belt. D-73836 performs a test on the gasses within SCP-TMCN. Results read: NIT: 77%, OXY: 22%, ARG: 0.9%, OTHR: 0.1%. D-73836 asks permission to remove his breathing mask, SCPF Sanctum command approves. D-73836 is able to breath normally within SCP-TMCN. D-73836 walks toward the back of SCP-TMCNs throat and is instructed to crawl through the esophagus. As D-73836 crawls forward, the diameter of the esophagus increases until D-73836 can stand within it. It is at this point that SCP-TMCN's anomalous interior size was confirmed, as the distance D-73836 had traveled had exceeded the length of SCP-TMCN.
The sound of mechanical movement can be heard through D-73836's microphone. D-73836 notes that the sound gets louder the farther he travels. D-73836 comes across the opening to SCP-TMCN's stomach and is instructed to crawl through it. D-73836 voices concerns before eventually complying. D-73836 emerges in a cavernous space filled with various industrial components, such as conveyor belts and large gears. D-73836 is instructed to move forward.
D-73836 navigates the space for 5 minutes, traveling 0.6 km. D-73836 notices something not visible in the cameras field of view. D-73836 inspects, and sees it to be old cloth. D-73836 is instructed to place the cloth in his bag for testing. D-73836 complies. When finished, D-73836 notices writing scratched into a nearby piece of machinery. Upon inspection, the text is identified as Mishnaic Hebrew.
D-73836 is instructed to continue navigating SCP-TMCN's interior. After 35 minutes, D-73836 finds no other deviations from the machinery within SCP-TMCN, and is instructed to return the to the exit of SCP-TMCN. D-73836 backtracks for 45 minutes, and exclaims that he should have found the exit by that time. D-73836 is instructed to light a flair and throw it towards the direction of the exit. D-73836 throws the flair and remarks that he cannot see exit.
D-73836 continues to walk for another 2 hours, growing more frantic as more time passes without finding the entrance to the esophagus. After 6 hours, D-73836 cannot be consoled, and proceeds turns off his camera. Seemingly haven forgotten to turn off his microphone, the sound of footsteps on metal intermixed with agonized groans can be heard on and off for 3 more hours, before D-73836's microphone loses power.
All further attempts to contact D-73836 have resulted in failure.
Footnote: When translated, the text seen through D-73836's camera feed reads: "I repent, I repent. I was foolish to underestimate your supreme power over this world. I repent. I will carry your message. They will hear it. They will be saved. I repent."

SCP-ICIT camouflaged in containment.
Item #: SCP-ICIT
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Blue
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-ICIT is currently held in Containment Chamber ICIT, a 25m x 25m artificial environment chamber at Site-127 built to resemble its native habitat of the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Within the chamber is a small house containing standard furniture, appliances, and other objects which would normally be found in an occupied house. Running water and electricity are to be provided to the house, and non-spoiled food items are to be stocked in the kitchen. Thermal imaging cameras are to be maintained, alongside normal color vision cameras, within SCP-ICIT's containment chamber to monitor the position of SCP-ICIT.
At least once a month, SCP-ICIT is to be transferred to a temporary holding chamber containing a minimum of 10 liters of open water while Containment Chamber ICIT is cleaned. During this time, various small amphibians, reptiles, and rodents are to be introduced to the enclosure12, along with enough insects to maintain these populations until the next cleaning period. In the event that SCP-ICIT is within 10 meters of the main entrance of the chamber, one of the two backup entrances is to be used.
If necessary, SCP-ICIT can be kept in a standard containment chamber for 1-2 weeks before the onset of SCP-ICIT-1 deterioration. To limit the deterioration of SCP-ICIT-1, subjects selected for testing are to be sent into the environment chamber and instructed to live in the house, rather than transferring SCP-ICIT to a testing chamber. Following the ingestion of SCP-ICIT, subjects are to be removed from the environment chamber before the full onset of SCP-ICIT-1's effects.
Description: SCP-ICIT is a member of an anomalous species of amphibious cephalopod, most closely related to the white-spotted octopus (Callistoctopus macropus). The main physiological difference between SCP-ICIT and C. macropus is the lack of reproductive organs and mantle; organs which would normally be located within the mantle of an octopus are instead distributed throughout the head, body, and bases of tentacles. A large beak is present on the underside of the body, housing a sharp tongue-like appendage.
SCP-ICIT possesses advanced camouflaging capabilities similar to those of the mimic octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus). Though SCP-ICIT can imitate over 10 million colors and 50 textures, it prefers to camouflage itself as strewn fabrics13, plants, rocks, and plastic bags. The natural color of SCP-ICIT has not yet been determined, as it is constantly camouflaging to match its environment, even when asleep. SCP-ICIT will often suspend itself from walls or ceilings to evade detection through use of its comparatively strong suckers. On multiple occasions, SCP-ICIT has imitated objects near the entrances of its containment chamber, seemingly in an attempt to escape while cleaning crews enter the chamber.
Similarly to most cephalopods, SCP-ICIT produces and stores blackish-blue ink (designated SCP-ICIT-1) in an ink sack located within the body. However, SCP-ICIT does not use this ink to distract or blind, but to incapacitate its prey, displaying anomalous properties once a minimum of 1 ml14 has been ingested by a human subject. Following ingestion, SCP-ICIT-1 is diluted into the bloodstream of the subject, eventually making its way to the brain and adhering to it through unknown means. After a period of time ranging from 5 to 10 hours, subjects experience a reversal of synaptic plasticity which accelerates exponentially until the victim has lost all sense of subjective self-identity and non-conceptual memories. When SCP-ICIT becomes stressed or its mental state is otherwise worsened, SCP-ICIT-1 diminishes in potency until it exhibits none of its effects.

Brain scans of D-72920 showing a decrease of glucose metabolism before and after exposure to SCP-ICIT-1.
Over the course of one week, neural pathways in the brains of victims of SCP-ICIT-1 deteriorate in strength and number the more they are used. Once subjects have lost a significant percentage of their neural connections, they enter a catatonic state, becoming unresponsive to stimuli. In the wild, SCP-ICIT uses this period to puncture the thin bone in the rear of the ocular cavity using its tongue-like appendage. By unknown mechanisms of detection and locomotion, SCP-ICIT-1 responds by detaching from the brain and pooling at the breach in the skull, where it is absorbed by SCP-ICIT.
SCP-ICIT-1 can be flushed out of the brain at any point prior to this catatonic state through the use of an ultra-potent cerebrospinal fluid solution (classified as CGF-650) and the artificial induction of the glymphatic system. In the event that SCP-ICIT-1 is ingested and is neither flushed by CGF-650 nor reabsorbed by SCP-ICIT, it will decay over the course of 1-2 days until it is flushed by the body's natural glymphatic system.
Following the reabsorption of SCP-ICIT-1, subjects will expire due to natural processes unless they are tended to by medical personnel. Post recovery, SCP-ICIT-1 victims exhibit ongoing signs of confusion, fear, and mild paranoia. Subjects are unable to speak immediately after recovery, though reconditioning leads to the recall of concepts (both abstract and concrete) and speech over the course of 1-2 weeks.
SCP-ICIT is a predatory hunter of homo sapiens, occupying homes lived in by persons numbering between 1 and 515. After entering a home, SCP-ICIT proceeds to secrete SCP-ICIT-1 onto/into various food items around the house. During the onset of SCP-ICIT-1's effects, SCP-ICIT will strategically place photos and other items with significant personal meaning to the subject in locations within the house where it has observed subjects looking.
While not hunting, SCP-ICIT was observed to wander through the forests of the Pacific Northwest of the United States, migrating between bodies of water. When in its hunting period, SCP-ICIT must periodically douse itself with water, be it from a toilet, sink, shower, etc, due to its amphibious nature.

Addendum ICIT.3: Reproduction
Between 16/4/██ and 14/7/██, SCP-ICIT laid a clutch of blackish-blue eggs16 inside of a toilet located in Containment Chamber 377917. By the time cleaning crews had discovered the eggs, approximately 25% had hatched. After initial discovery, all remaining eggs and hatchlings were relocated to a testing chamber adjacent to Containment Chamber ICIT and supplied with conditions conductive to hatching and survival of early development. This testing chamber was equipped with a large tank which resembled a coral outcropping. It is currently unknown how SCP-ICIT-Prime produced fertilized eggs while in solitary captivity.
10 days after the relocation of SCP-ICIT-Prime's offspring, it expired due to natural causes18. Testing on the deceased body of SCP-ICIT-Prime is currently ongoing.
SCP-ICIT-Prime hatchlings (designated SCP-ICIT-G1) displayed aggressive behavior to other hatchlings, often engaging in altercations which resulted in the death of one or both parties. After 2 months, 536 eggs had hatched and 5 had developed to maturity. The surviving offspring had successfully defended their own area within the tank. SCP-ICIT-G1 instances which encroached on the territory of another instance were met with hostility until the encroaching SCP-ICIT-G1 instance had returned to its own territory. When preliminary research on SCP-ICIT-G1 had concluded, they were released back into Containment Chamber ICIT, where they continued to exhibit their territorial behavior. Proposals for SCP-ICIT-G1 to be placed into separate containment chambers for the ease of relocation and cleaning of the chambers are currently in development.
SCP-ICIT-G1 are to be monitored for signs of reproduction similar to SCP-ICIT-Prime.

SUBJECT: Mnemosyne ProtocolDescription: The Mnemosyne Protocol is a theoretical contingency activated in the event that all of humanity has been exposed to a memetic cognitohazard/infohazard. Were such an event to transpire, it would be completely and rapidly erased from the memory of every living person with no collateral memory loss. The Mnemosyne Protocol would consist of three phases:
- The creation of trillions of self-replicating nanomachines (classified as LETHE-31 nanomachines)
- The distribution of LETHE-31 nanomachines on a global scale.
- The remote activation of LETHE-31 nanomachines.
Phase I: 1 trillion self-replicating biohybrid nanomachines would need to be manufactured. Each nanomachine would contain 3e-1 yoctolitres of an ultra-potent SCP-ICIT-1 solution, a Class-A Hypnotic, and the CGF-650 compound. Each LETHE-31 nanomachine would also be equipped with electrostatic shock pads and a radio receiver. Regardless of the means of intake, LETHE-31 would be able to locate and attach to various areas of the brain of each human subject. Upon attaching to the brain, they would a) orient themselves through communication with other nanomachines, and b) replicate themselves until they numbered over 500 (to ensure total coverage of each subject's brain).
Phase II: Distribution of the trillion principal LETHE-31 nanomachines would be enacted via three methods. The first means of distribution would introduce small amounts of LETHE-31 to certain vaccination fluids to be distributed worldwide. The second would involve the introduction of LETHE-31 to all major water bottling centers and the water supplies of nearly every city and town in the world. The third would call for the incorporation of LETHE-31 as an ingredient in "new and improved" variations of popular pesticides and fertilizer soils.
Phase III: LETHE-31 nanomachines could be remotely activated automatically or manually. When enacted, Foundation satellites would begin transmitting to the LETHE-31 nanomachines. Upon receiving the activation signal, LETHE-31 nanomachines would release their stored Class-A Hypnotics and SCP-ICIT-1 solution. Once SCP-ICIT-1 effects are detected, nanomachines located in the occipital and temporal lobes would begin producing electrostatic signals, inducing auditory and visual hallucinations to conjure the targeted cognitohazard. The exact nature of these signals would depend on the nature of the threat at hand. Once the desired memory is eliminated, the LETHE-31 would release the CGF-650 compound and electrostatic signals to artificially induce the glymphatic system, flushing the Class-A Hypnotic and SCP-ICIT-1 from the brain.
Closing Statement: This technology is theoretically possible, and has been achieved on a small scale testing environment (refer to tests 3XXX-G and 3XXX-H). We ask only that you consider our proposal, as it could mean the difference between humanity prevailing and its assured destruction.
