WIP of an SCP involving ex-Foundation personnel. Mild antimemetic effects requires SCP will have to be recorded via audio, as opposed to written under normal circumstances.
Full transcript of full SCP is current. I really, really do not like the Addendums, and the current Containment Procedures. I'm going to refine them further before recording them. Since I am "Reading" directly off this transcript to create the file in question, it is not formatted in the way typical SCP writing is. A lot of additions had to be made to make it "readable" out loud, and this transcript will not be posted on final posting of SCP-4568. SCP-4568 is a TEMPORARY DESIGNATION. Final recordings will use an empty designation wherever possible.
“Hello. My name and designation is Level 3 Researcher Love. Due to the antimemetic properties of this SCP, all further information, including this audio file, will be narrated and transcribed in an audio format to prevent loss of data. Additionally, Speech-to-Text transcription software with an accuracy of 99.8% has been provided, which will allow temporary transcripts of these audio files into text. They will last for 68 hours, and can be read in lieu of these transcriptions."
Item #: SCP-4568
Object Class: Previously Euclid, now Safe
Previous Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4568 is to be contained within a standard 5x5x10m Temporary Housing domicile on Site-19. One unarmed guard is to ensure SCP-4568 does not leave his temporary containment without an escort. Tentatively, all records of SCP-4568 must be put into audio transcription, as written text will invariably succumb to the anomalous properties of SCP-4568.
SCP-4568’s Level 2 Security Clearance is to be revoked, and his access card taken until a full investigation of his properties and potential threat may be ascertained.
Current Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances is the name, or any moniker in use of a name (I.E SCP designation, nicknames, false or fake names, temporary names, or legal name) of SCP-4568 to be written in permanent documentation if the intent is to write of SCP-4568. Use of temporary information in the form of transcripts is authorized, but at the discretion of any Level 3 Researcher assigned to monitoring SCP-4568.
As a result, all permanent documents involving SCP-4568 henceforth must be transcribed in an audio recording, pictograph, video, or other non-text method.
SCP-4568 shall continue to work under the Foundation as a Level 2 Researcher as per usual protocol. All Access Cards made for SCP-4568 must leave the “Name” section blank. Due to SCP-4568’s SCP classification, housing on Site-19 must be provided. Under no circumstances is SCP-4568 to leave Foundation property. While access to usual amenities are authorized, including wireless internet connection and mobile phone service, they must be monitored extensively to ensure SCP-4568 does not interact directly with any online community, for fear of his anomalous characteristics affecting other websites and metadata. Should SCP-4568 violate established protocol, use of the amenities are to be immediately revoked, and his further employment within the Foundation determined by the Site Commander.
Description: SCP-4568 is a young hispanic male, standing at 1.89 meters and weighing, at time of recording, 65 kilograms. His name, at the time of recording, is Andruw Ceballo-Lopez. SCP-4568 was employed to the Foundation as a Level 2 researcher on December 14, 2017.
Researcher Ceballo-Lopez came under indirect investigation on January 15th, 2018 for any chance of involvement during measures emplaced after his Supervisor, Level 3 Researcher NAME REDACTED DUE TO ONGOING INVESTIGATION, was discovered embezzling funds for containment for the use of a private, political entity. Internal investigative entities were unable to find the documentation of enlistment of SCP-4568 at this time. The file which contained his enlistment was, by all known measurements and analysis, never written. No indents existed on the paper, nor had any traces of ink shown in extensive testing of the seventeen page document. Further research was committed to find the saved backup of this enlistment document on electronic records. HARD DRIVE NUMBER REDACTED was opened by Foundation personnel. While the current storage suggested that a packet of information roughly 49kb (a size appropriate to a 17 page PDF file) was stored, it was impossible to access. Any amount of effort to recover this data resulted in no success, though other files on the hard drive remained accessible. Despite the lack of information provided, his original liason to the Foundation, Dr. Lissan, had testified that she filed his contract normally. When provided the blank paper, Dr. Lissan was confused as to the lost writing she had placed during his entrance to the Foundation, remembering it with clarity typical of events within the last three months of the average human. Upon further investigation, no records of access, authorizations, research, or previous assignments were anywhere within Site-19’s extensive records.
The ultimate result of the investigation determined that SCP-4568 has a mild antimemetic effect involving written documentation in any form referencing them by legal name, nicknames, or, through further testing, any SCP designation OR false OR temporary designations given to SCP-4568 in writing. It is assumed this effect began after their joining the Foundation, as certain documents including (I.D, birth certificate, and medical records) are required for all applicants chosen to serve. As a result, these documents must have contained information in writing prior to the Person of Interest entering the Foundation.
Upon discovery, SCP-4568 was temporarily detained, given an interim Euclid SCP classification, and questioned. A thorough search of his home and person produced a multitude of blanked paperwork and cards, including all credit, debit, identification, birth certificate, and art pieces SCP-4568 had created as a hobby were all now blank cards, papers, and canvases respectively. When shown to SCP-4568, he described the objects in great detail, perceiving them as though they were never altered or cleansed of information. When given a credit card, he even stated the exact numbers posted on the card, stating he could feel the indentations pressed into the credit card number. Researchers holding the card felt no textures that would indicate the white piece of plastic contained any information. He claimed ignorance further of all anomalous events found under investigation, stating his documentation had not visibly changed.
Initial theory is limited. Neither SCP-4568 nor Foundation personnel seem to recall any SCP that SCP-4568 may have interacted with that may have caused this spread of antimemetic effects. Research into potential antimemetic effects within Site-19 spreading to other Staff is ongoing.
Further testing recommended.

TEST LOG 1:
The following attempts to describe SCP-4568 have been made:
-Researcher Love writes file describing SCP-4568, without using any moniker of SCP-4568: Failure. Deletion occurred 68 hours after writing.
-Picture of writing file: Failure. Self-deletion occurred 17 minutes after picture taken.
-Pictures of SCP-4568 taken, file named "SCP4568testlog1": Failure. Results deleted 7 hours, 15 minutes after recording.
-Video interview of SCP-4568 created. Results pending.
-Pictures of SCP-4568 taken, without any text. Results pending.
-SCP-4568 instructed to write short file without describing itself, or signing the document. Results pending.
-Researcher Stanton creates pictogram describing SCP-4568. Results pending.
-Audio recorded of test logs. Results pending.
Addendum 1: February 13, 2018.
SCP-4568, under further testing, has proven his antimemetic effect only occurs with specifically written documents. Discussions, recordings be they audio or video, and pictographs of SCP-4568 have preserved for periods extending one month. Testing of written documentation, and pictures of written documentation, have faded after a period anywhere between 2 minutes to 68 hours, consistently. Whether the anomalous effects of SCP-4568 simply take longer to manifest within other media, or are unaffected, is a test that is ongoing. Currently, all audio logs are to be recreated and saved on a separate device weekly, to ensure information is not lost in the instance SCP-4568’s effect may eventually wipe these audio logs.

Addendum 2: March 19, 2018.
SCP-4568 has shown increased desire in returning to the employment of the Foundation. Due to the lack of circumstantial evidence of any involvement of SCP-4568 with embezzlement, his high loyalty to the Foundation, and the lack of inherent threat given in his properties, consideration of his returning to the Foundation is now underway.
After nearly two and a half months of testing, audio, video, and pictogram information involving SCP-4568 has not been lost, even during repeated playbacks. Recommendation for reclassification to “Safe” has been denied by O5-▅, due to lack of time spanning recorded tests. SCP-4568 has been given electronic equipment for leisure, including a television, a video game console, and several books at request, paid from his personal funds and pay grade as per contract.

Addendum 3: July 16, 2018.
SCP-4568 reclassified to Safe. Additional research teams have found a period of greater than five months in which data transcribing SCP-4568 has shown no degradation in quality or information, and upon resubmittal of request to O5 council, request for reclassification as been approved. An additional request to return SCP-4568 to Foundation employment is underway. We have put far too much money and training into Researcher Andruw Ceballo-Lopez to let this affect, which was almost certainly an unintended side effect of exposure to Researcher Lopez to other anomalous entities he had researched, be reason enough to lock him in a box until the end of time. Yes, he is, and will be an SCP for the rest of his life. No, he can’t go home any more. That doesn’t mean we should keep poking him with a stick in his little room until he kills himself. Put him back to work.
Dr. Stanton, Level 4 researcher.
Addendum 4: August 6, 2018.
Researcher Andruw Ceballo-Lopez has returned to Foundation employment as a Level 2 Researcher under the following restrictions: Researcher Lopez cannot leave Site 19. All payments to Researcher Lopez are to be made in legal tender instead of direct deposit, and recorded by Finance Officers as any unique moniker that does not contain Researcher Lopez’s name, or nicknames, preferably, “Miscellaneous payment”. Researcher Lopez must use the identity and debit information of a Level 4 Researcher for purchasing goods online, and must not show any activity within social media communities. All written documents from Researcher Lopez are to be signed by his immediate supervisor, to prevent anomalous deletion of his research. Terms of his contract have changed to employment or containment as he chooses indefinitely. Retirement age is mandated at 49 at his current Clearance, in which Researcher Lopez will be placed in isolated containment with a pension of 78% of his current base pay at Site 39. Should Researcher Lopez receive additional clearance levels, his mandated retirement age and pensions are subject to increases typical of other contracts. Secure. Contain. Protect.
