Class: Thaumiel - Anapsyed
Containment procedures:
SCP-5000 must be locked inside of a 50x50 square foot of vegetation and grass. Checks for any openings are to be attended every 60 hours. All personnel above level-5 are allowed inside SCP-5000's area. If personnel are to be inside of SCP 5000’s chamber, they are to be wearing top tier steel oxygen suits to avoid the carbon monoxide SCP-5000 releases. E-class personnel are allowed inside of SCP-5000’s chamber to re-contain SCP-5000 in case of a breach due to its recent arrival and imminent behavior.
If a breach has occurred, SCP-5000’s area must immediately be evacuated, sealed, and checked for any cracks that have formed in the area by local E-class personnel. No personnel are allowed to touch SCP 5000 during a breach for their own safety, as SCP 5000’s side effects can become dangerous when exposed to it for a certain period of time.
Weekly checks for vegetation decomposition are necessary. If all vegetation has decomposed completely due to SCP-5000’s eating method, a regrowth protocol will be attended immediately using SCP-504. If SCP-504 is being tested on during the regrowth protocol, vegetation will be ordered to SCP-5000’s area by local personnel at food bay 78.
Description: SCP-5000 is a collection of small, grey cubes. When interacted with, it will cure the subject of any thoughts that would come to them that would be dangerous and [DATA EXPUNGED]. Subjects that have interacted with SCP-5000 become further referenced as SCP-5000-1, SCP-5000-2, and SCP-5000-3. Subjects converted to SCP-5000-1 have said to have better moods, better actions, and better intentions. SCP-5000-1 is to be released immediately if the subject is a volunteer subject. D-class SCP-5000-1’s are to be released back into tasks and labor unless permitted by the 0-5 council.
If the subject interacts with SCP 5000 for more than 60 minutes, they will become referenced to as SCP-5000-2. SCP-5000-2 will attempt to commit [DATA EXPUNGED] and will suffer through intense Insomnia for 500 hours. Subjects seemed to have said that they have found the “source of all evils” and will repeatedly ask for journals to “record data”.
Instances of SCP-5000-3 are to occur if SCP-5000-1 is to interact with SCP-5000 for more than 24 hours. Subject will become covered by SCP-5000's corrosive goo and will become a corrosive corpse similar to SCP 106. SCP-5000-3 is to become sealed inside of a stainless steel box after being contained.
