Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX has been identified as a Level-4 biosafety hazard, and as such is to be contained using standard BSL-4 procedures. SCP-XXXX is a highly contagious agent and must always be manipulated under a biosafety cabinet with laminar flow, using a full-body protective hazmat suit and rustproof instruments. As of incident 232-B-3, the handling of samples of SCP-XXXX must be approved and overseen by a level 4 researcher.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a viral infection distinguished by a reddish-brown oxidation that uncharacteristically and anomalously affects biotic matter. The infection is spread through the release of spores found on living tissue which then become activated and begin to break down affecting tissue through a process identical to iron oxidation.

In spite of the Foundation's best efforts, cases of SCP-XXXX-1 continue to occur sporadically in Minden, West Virginia, and each individual case should be examined thoroughly. Test reports should document all relevant laboratory work including but not limited to: types of samples analysed (blood, skin samples, bone marrow, chlorotic tissue, etc.; dates of sample collection; ferroxyl indicator results; X-ray results; haematological and serological findings; and autopsy results for fatal cases. An epidemiological investigation should be performed for each human case to determine the source of infection and the risk of further human cases.

Divination Big WIP

The entity can be kept in standard, relatively relaxed humanoid containment cell as it is of a calm and cooperative demeanor, however the divination item must be kept under a closer watch. The humanoid entity is, for all intents and purposes, human in all ways that can be observed. This is combated, however, by the fact that it seems to enter a catatonic state that cannot be broken when separated from the divination item.
