Special Containment Procedures:
Following successful capture, SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a Standard Euclid Containment Cell and all electronic equipment is to kept at 100 meter distance or greater from SCP-XXXX. Under no circumstances are any transmissions emitted from SCP-XXXX's cell to be received. Once contained, SCP-XXXX is to be kept on full lock-down and no experimentation is to be conducted until condoned by the Site Manager. Following the neutralization of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX's Code Log is to be stored on the CD-drive of Head Researcher Dr. Adam's research computer. All requests for a copy of SCP-XXXX's Code Log are to be reviewed by Dr. Adam prior to acceptance.
Description: SCP-XXXX was a digital file consisting of a .PNG photo, and beneath it, a script file. The .PNG photo consisted of a Memetic Kill Agent, though no research was possible into the origins of the Kill Agent due to lack of Inoculated Personnel. The script file contained a line of binary that, for undiscovered reasons, was capable of learning from its environment. The code was both self-altering and of an unknown programming language. {Footnote about the only way this was discovered was off of data bits within the Code Log} Following first contact with the Foundation, SCP-XXXX began to alter itself to an exponential scale, changing in behavior and aggression over the course of a few weeks. While there were been no firsthand reports of SCP-XXXX, nor any direct research into its code, a .txt file containing what appeared to be the Code Log of SCP-XXXX was discovered on a research terminal in Site-14, a facility that was previously abandoned.
