Any newly found SCP-XXXX is to be terminated on sight if shown any sign of uncooperativeness.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 13 limbed parasitic sapient being of unknown origin. The body of SCP-XXXX is cephalopodic, rounded and bilaterally symmetric. Its head size varies from 15 mm to 40 cm in diameter, from 2 cm to 60 cm in height and a small mouth, which is located on the bottom of its head in the center, is used to ingest anything organic. The length of its tentacles ranges from 1 cm to 8 m in length with exception of its main tentacle coming from top of its head, which has a length of 15 cm at birth. Its whole body is made of an unidentified material with its strength dependent on its age to the point of being able to resist subcaliber ammunition when fully grown.
The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX are the ability to directly communicate with humans during physical contact, the ability to communicate with other SCP-XXXX over large distances and to infect humans. SCP-XXXX can only infect humans in its infancy stage. It does this by entering, attaching and slowly borrowing itself into the upper wall of its target oral cavity and using its main tentacle to connect to its victim's brain. In case of successful infection the SCP-XXXX has full control over the individual and its memories. SCP-XXXX can leave its host at will with or without causing any physical or mental damage to its host.
The reproduction process of SCP-XXXX starts with am SCP-XXXX in its adult stage finding a human female capable of pregnancy. The process itself is almost identical to a standard pregnancy. SCP-XXXX will impregnate its victim with its main tentacle by releasing reproduction cells in the body, the length of pregnancy in this case takes between 24 to 48 hours, after which a new SCP-XXXX leaves its victims body and enters infancy stage. Only one SCP-XXXX can be born during this process.
During its life, SCP-XXXX can go through three stages of development. The first is infancy stage which SCP-XXXX enters either by birth or by leaving its shell, during this stage, it can infect human hosts but is also most vulnerable. The second stage is pre-adolescent stage, which SCP-XXXX enters approximately 24 hours into infancy stage, at this stage SCP-XXXX starts developing its shell, during this stage, it cannot infect any human host and cannot leave its shell. The last third stage is Adolescent stage, which SCP-XXXX enters approximately 7 days into pre-adolescent stage, at this stage SCP-XXXX is large enough to leave its shell. The time needed to reach its maximum size varies from 6 months to 8 months. If SCP-XXXX is to ever leave its shell, the shell starts decomposing rapidly 5 minutes after it is left and cannot be returned to, the length of decomposure depends on the size of the shell and can take up to 1 hour if fully grown.
