Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5568 is to be contained in a 10m x 10m x 10m airtight and sealed chamber at Site ██. The chamber is to be constructed out of reinforced concrete, 50 cm thick. The entrance to the chamber is an airlock, with doors composed out of lead-lined steel. An observation room is positioned high up and outside of the containment chamber, with bulletproof glass to allow visual contact. One camera is positioned inside of the chamber and can be accessed from the observation room. This camera's purpose is to record any changes in SCP-5568's physical form and for general surveillance. Any contact with SCP-5568 needs to be approved by at least three level 3 staff. All contact with SCP-5568 must be recorded for research purposes. Under no circumstances shall food or other forms of nutrients be given to SCP-5568.

Description: SCP-5568 is a large gelatinous mass, with a purple hue and currently weighing around 800 kilograms. SCP-5568 has the ability to metamorphize into different forms and consistencies. It can "grow" different forms of appendages and other physical features, such as heads, eyes, mouths, and organs. The ability to change consistency allows it to cause parts of its mass to rigidify, creating bone-like structures inside of it to form an indoskeleton. It also has been shown to create exoskeletons and even shields. These rigidified masses can also create teeth, claws, spine plates, weapons of blunt force trauma, and horns. It can also liquidify its mass to allow it to slip through small cracks and to remain unharmable. No part of SCP-5568 is consistent in form, except for one large mouth. This mouth has teeth that resemble those of natural carnivores. SCP-5568 can not use this mouth to vocalize since it has no voice box, and has never tried to manifest one. The mouth can extend to be up to 1 meter in diameter. SCP-5568 mainly feeds through this mouth. How exactly SCP-5568 absorbs the nutrients of its prey is not known yet. When SCP-5568 absorbs prey, it gains the exact amount of the weight of the prey and turns it into the mass it is made out of.

SCP-5568 is sentient and has the intelligence level that of a raven. SCP-5568 has shown hostile behavior towards humans and other animals. When SCP-5568 hunts prey, it changes its physical features to counter the features of its prey. For example, when hunting a shark it grew fins, a swim bladder, and two large appendages with long claws. It used the claws to poke and rip at the shark's weak points, like the gills and eyes. When no animals are present, SCP-5568 will often remain in a neutral state, where it has no features except the mouth. It seems to get bored when it hasn't hunted in an indeterminate period of time. When bored, it will try to entertain itself by either rapidly changing form or bouncing around in its containment chamber. This has caused some structural damage and the discussion if food should be given to SCP-5568 to keep it docile is still ongoing.
