some scp thing

held at either site 19 (largest SCP facility holding safe and euclid-class scps) or site 77 (One of the largest storage facilities housing inert safe objects, in southern Italy, given that first scp idea is a european sword, this would work well)

Once touched either directly with bare skin or while wearing protective clothing of any kind, or if direct contact is made with the container of the sword, the person who touches it is seemingly frozen in place for four seconds, mid-breath. No muscle movement, respiration, or blood flow takes place. However, MRI imaging shows that the brain not only continues functions, but an anomalous occurrence in brain patterns takes place, which cannot be correlated with any physiological process or thought pattern.

After being frozen for four seconds, the subject regains movement and awareness, and seems to be entirely unaware of the fact that they were frozen, and also unaware of any mental or physical changes within themselves. When asked if they noticed they stopped breathing or moving, or what they were thinking during the four seconds, or if they noticed time continuing to move while being frozen, they react with total denial that any such event took place and will display utter disbelief and mistrust in anyone who suggests the moments of paralysis.

Upon escaping the paralysis, the subjects then display awe and appreciation for the sword, somehow, despite the immense mass of the sword, pick it up with ease and inspect it. Subjects appear to handle the sword as well as any other light sword, despite the true mass of the object. Subjects typically comment on how well-balanced the sword is, claiming it feels like an extension of their arm and displays remarkable craftsmanship.

Full biological diagnostic analyses of 1 or more subjects who came into contact with the SCP, over a length of time showing gradual anatomical changes in a subject. One example is the conversion of nociceptors throughout the body into cardiovascular and lymph veins and arteries to assist in the distribution of increased levels of adreno- and serotonil compounds several times higher than the human average, resulting in a full lack of pain reception and greater strength, endurance, awareness, and most distressing, pleasure in acts from the subject that result in the furthering of their "goal", including violence

There are at least three different written containment procedures, and the SCP is classified as Safe for the first two.

The first was storage in a simple steel, lead-lined lockbox, locked with a standard key, and shelved in Site 15 (or whatever site I listed as a good place). It was only to be taken out of containment for testing, and could be handled and transferred by Level-02 personnel or greater, utilizing rubberized lead-lined gloves to handle the box, and a clamper to retrieve the sword from it. It is explicitly stated that no flesh contact is to be made with the box, and no flesh or clothed/gloved contact is to be made with the sword itself.
This procedure is revised following a containment breach around 1983 or so.

The second procedure consisted of a [anti-memetic material] lead-lined container, locked by three different locking mechanisms, and filled with a gelatinous anti-memetic solution in which the sword was submerged. No contact, flesh or otherwise, was allowed with the box—it must be handled by machinery or grappling devices at length, and the sword was to be extracted only by D-Class or automated systems in testing environments. Yet another containment breach led to the third revision.

The third procedure consisted of a more intricate design, and resulted in the reclassification of the SCP from Safe to Euclid.

The new containment procedures include a double-container system. In the first container, the sword is submerged in the same anti-memetic gelatin solution from the second procedure, and placed inside a 2x2 meter cube composed of an anti-memetic lead alloy. This container is further submerged in more anti-memetic gelatin and suspended via soft convection currents in a 6x6 meter anti-memetic lead alloy cube, the walls a thicker size than the first. This cube is placed in the center of a 20x20 meter room, the walls composed of an anti-memetic alloy. Anti-memetic devices are placed throughout the room and project anti-memetic fields. At this point, access to the SCP is restricted to Level-03 personnel with clearance from at least two on-site Level-04 personnel, strictly for testing purposes. The Level-03 personnel accessing the SCP must wear anti-memetic protective gear and use machinery to transport the SCP, and place it in a room of similar design to the holding cell. Only D-Class personnel are to be used for direct-contact experiments.

In all instances, personnel who come into direct contact with the SCP must be quarantined and examined by psychological and medical personnel. In the first two instances, they are to be examined on a weekly basis and ran through several tests, physical and mental. In the third, they are to be monitored in quarantine continuously, and physically and mentally examined under guard daily. Under the first containment procedure, there was one containment breach and four incidents involving maddened personnel attempting to breach containment over the course of two months. In the second procedure, there were two containment breaches and three incidents involving personnel over the course of nine months. In the final procedure, two decades transpired without incident, but there were recently (within several years of whenever the article was last edited) two incidences and no containment breaches, though one of the incidents came close, prompting consideration of further containment revision.
