Item #: SCP-5124

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Specimens will be kept in a standard holding cell in Site-73. Corpses are to remain in their original positions and left unmoved, unless authorized by higher personal. Single large tin basin to be put into far back corner. Tape is to be lined at least 0.3m from specimens to keep a safe distance for both parties. Only authorized personal are to cross the tape, unauthorized persons found ignoring the distance will be reprimanded and transferred immediately.

Description: SCP-5124 consists of two adult sized skeletons (SCP-5124-A and SCP-5124-B) found in north-western Greece. Their wrists are bound in a fraying rope that cannot be cut by conventional means (Further testing is underway) and has caused shallow cuts into both the left and right ulna and radius. The bones have weathered with age and show signs of damage:

* SCP-5124-A shows caving on the occipital bone (theorized to have been bludgeoned and/or pushed upon with a large object), the lower mandible is missing with several of the maxilla teeth broken. Complete major fractures of all seven cervical vertebrae, four of twelve thoracic vertebrae, and hairline fractures on the remaining thoracic vertebrae and sternum.

* SCP-5124-B shows minor damage to the fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae (theorized to be made by a sharp object inserted into the jugular). Both femurs are majorly cracked as well as both patellas.

Upon the arrival of a human being in the room, the skeletons become living humanoids for an amount of time that is sporadic. The ropes previously binding both SCP-5124-A and SCP-5124-B together disappear during their awakening. SCP-5124-A appears as a girl of Greek decent with waist length hair and who is completely in the nude. Notably is not missing lower mandible in this form. SCP-5124-B appears as an androgynous figure of Greek decent with hair cut at the neck, but in contrast to SCP-5124-A, is clothed in simple cloth wrappings.
The presence of a human in the room changes the appearance of the specimens but only to the subject, reportedly appearing as loved ones, or previous persons of affection to the subject. Subjects put into the room with SCP-5124 during their awakening report joy seeing the loved one again and those who have touched the specimens (With SCP-5124 instigating the affection first) reported feeling comfort, clarity, and feeling as if a heavy weight was taken off their shoulders. Even class D who were under heavy amnesiacs identified the loved ones that appeared to them, but were unable to retell any memories of said person. SCP-5124's effects do not appear to be harmful in anyway, but have shown to become aggressive if provoked.

When approached for affection (Touching and kissing) that was not instigated by either SCP-5124-A or SCP-5124-B will cause negative reactions. SCP-5124-A will become frantic and disappear, being found in the nearest shallow object (Boxes, trashcans, buckets) large enough to hold SCP-5124-A who will stay there until Foundation members coax it out or until SCP-5124-B retrieves it. SCP-5124-B will become aggressive and attempt to stop the advances, normally with shoving and pushing. If subject continues to advance, SCP-5124-B will scratch and hit the subject until they stop or become too injured to continue. Only one subject has been killed which resulted in SCP-5124-B reverting back into a skeleton and not awakening for several days even with coaxing from SCP-5124-A. Though SCP-5124-B has on a few occasions disappeared and hid similar to it's counterpart.
This has led to a total of four breaches on SCP-5124's part, but all have been contained and no casualties have occurred.
If asked too, SCP-5124 will drop the form and appear as their standard appearances, only if positive connections have been made between them and an authorized personal. Neither appear to speak English instead speaking in ancient Greek. Requests for a translator have been made.

Future implementations of trauma counseling in wake of a loved ones death is being considered due to the lack of negative side effects from SCP-5124. Further research is required to clear all possibilities.

Addendum:
██/██/20██
Due to close proximity of discovery, research into relations between SCP-3651 and SCP-5124 are underway.
