Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-OC-1242 is to be contained in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell in Site-42, with cameras inside it to record any instance of SCP-OC-1242 teleporting outside or inside of the containment cell. One guard is required to watch over the containment cell at all times, making sure SCP-OC-1242 does not teleport out of it without permission. Anyone with level 2 access can enter the cell. SCP-OC-1242's location will always be tracked.
SCP-OC-1242 is allowed to roam free on Site-42 during the duration of lunchtime and is allowed to eat in Site-42's cafeteria during this period of time.
SCP-OC-1242 is not allowed to teleport outside the Site-42, not it is allowed to teleport inside any other SCP containment cell except his own.
Description:
SCP-OC-1242 is a 16-year-old male of greek ethnicity, with caramel eyes, blonde hair and 164 cm in length.
SCP-OC-1242 can see any place on Earth in real-time, as long as it is undisturbed and concentrated. Deconcentrating or disturbing SCP-OC-1242 will cause on the cease of its abnormal behaviour. After SCP-OC-1242 ceases abnormal behaviour, it experiences a headache and has to rest for a total of 2 hours.
While exhibiting this capacity, SCP-OC-1242 eyes turn completely white, entering a trance-like state, being unable of movement and speech.
Should a user come in contact with SCP-OC-1242 in its trance-state, it will see whatever SCP-OC-1242 is currently seeing. The experience has been described as one similar to wearing 3D glasses.
SCP-OC-1242 can control its behaviour almost all the time, however, when SCP-OC-1242 is distressed, it will activate its remote-vision unwillingly, seeing a seemingly random place, where [REDACTED] is happening, for a period of time from 10 seconds to 1 minute before deactivation.
SCP-OC-1242 is also capable of teleporting up to a 1km radius from its current location, as long as it is making contact with any kind of surface or is, at least, less than one meter away from any given surface.
Addendum 1:
SCP-OC-1242's is able to teleport out of unusual places into Site-17 or any other given place on Earth (as long as it's in its teleportation radius) and seems to have more resilience than a normal human. Research trying to verify if SCP-OC-1242 is actually immortal still on-going.
Thus far, it has:
- Successfully teleported out of SCP-3008
- Successfully teleported out of SCP-106's pocket dimension, which SCP-OC-1242 refused to describe.
- Survived after being bitten by an Enhydrina schistose
- Survived after losing 60% of its blood
Addendum 2:
In a containment breach, SCP-OC-1242 can be used to track locations of SCPs that successfully escape the facility they're being contained in, however, SCP-OC-1242 may not substitute tracking devices or tracking measures used in other SCPs.
