Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5353 is contained on site-██. SCP-5353 is kept in a 60cm*60cm*60cm plastic container on a bed in a 3m*4m*5m plastic cell 40 meters underground. This cell requires level-3 clearance to enter. The cell is guarded by two Class-C guards with plastic weapons. If any unauthorized personnel tries to enter the cell they will be terminated. If any authorized personnel wish to enter they must remove all metallic objects from their bodies. Entering the cell with any metallic object will result in termination

SCP-5353-1 will be closely observed and kept in a 3m*4m*5m plastic cell. SCP-5353-2 will be kept in a 2m*3m*3m cell and will have weekly checkups to determine physical and mental health

Description: SCP-5353 looks like a 45cm*32cm cloth pillow with three large flowers on the front while the back of the pillow is just pink. but behaves like a living organism. If a subject falls asleep and is unobserved for 3.2 seconds on SCP-5353 they will be found decapitated. An autopsy on the victims of SCP-5353 will show that the body will have been drained of all blood if the blood type of the subject was O+ or A+. It is not known where this blood goes but it's speculated that SCP-5353 absorbs it.

If a subject under observation falls asleep on SCP-5353 they will be classified as SCP-5353-1. If SCP-5353-1 tries to sleep on any regular pillow they will begin to experience severe panic attacks and won't be able to calm down even with the use of an anesthetic. SCP-5353-1 will only calm down and be able to sleep if it gets to sleep on SCP-5353. If SCP-5353-1 does not get permission to sleep on SCP-5353 it will die from severe panic attacks or from sleep deprivation. If SCP-5353-1 does get permission to sleep on SCP-5353 it reports hearing a low voice of their parent singing their favorite lullaby in its native language before it falls asleep. If unobserved for 3.2 seconds SCP-5353-1 will be decapitated. If observed it will continue to live normally unless it's kept from sleeping on SCP-5353. If it's kept from sleeping on SCP-5353 it will start showing the same symptoms as mentioned before.

So far the symptoms caused by SCP-5353-1 don't seem to dissipate. The symptoms of SCP-5353-1 begin to dissipate after 1024 hours or approximately 43 days and will be classified as SCP-5353-2 when this happens. It is uncertain if SCP-5353-2 will ever fully recover from SCP-5353-1. The symptoms experienced by SCP-5353-2 after the initial 1024 hours are insomnia and an irrational fear of pillows.

Addendum: A SCP-5353 was found in a casino hotel and was removed by The Foundation after a ██ year old man was found decapitated on the sofa in the picture above. Due to the lack of blood and
other strange circumstances the Foundation was immediately contacted by ████ █████.

Addendum: B We attempted to SCP-5353 but it seems as if it has a defensive reflex. Just as the scalpel touched it all living humans within a 40 meter radius were decapitated. We sent in a subject to see what it reacted to. The results show that its defensive reflex goes off if the pillow comes into contact with any metallic object.

Addendum: C We successfully opened SCP-5353 by using a plastic scalpel. Inside we found feathers. We took a couple of them for further research. These feathers were completely normal Somateria mollissima feathers which are used in some pillows. We left SCP-5353's opening open for 24 hours but as soon as we stopped observing it for 3.2 seconds it had already closed the opening.
