SCP-5141: “The Seamstress”

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5141 is to be kept in a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m steel containment cell with 150W LED lights on the walls surrounding the cell 4 m from the floor separated by 1 m in between, cameras are to be mounted in each of the 4 upper corners of the cell. Checks for damage on the lights, cameras and cell walls are done every 3 days with no less than 5 people, 2 armed guards and 3 cleaning personnel who have all passed at least 3 mental stability checks and are confirmed to not be exhibiting any symptoms of restlessness or lack of sleep.

SCP-5141’s containment cell is to be separated from all rooms and cells where people may fall asleep by 25 m away and 10 m underground. Accessible via elevator, entrance to the elevator is prohibited until a stability check and insomnia check have been done on any and all personnel, D Class or otherwise. Guards and surveillance personnel are rotated every 6 hours

Description: SCP-5141 is a humanoid creature that is approximately 1.7 m in height. The subject is clothed in a cloak that is seemingly beige in color and is grossly worn with stains of mud and dried blood prevalent, the hood of the cloak is pulled over the subjects head and has larger amounts of mud and blood near the location of where the eyes and mouth are, attempts to remove the hood have proven unsuccessful, as it seems to be stuck to the subjects face in those locations listed.

Skin is visible only on the arms of the subject from the elbow down, the skin is grossly pale and seems to show signs of malnutrition. The subject's hands appear to be made of sewing needles entirely, the tips of which have been proven to be sharp enough to cut through softer metals such as aluminum, tin and nickel.

SCP-5141 appears to remain docile during most hours of daylight, 6 AM to 8 PM, in hours after 8 PM SCP-5141 will animate and begin to stare in the general direction of the nearest person closest to sleep, it seems acutely aware of who is tired at all times, but does not seem to be able to attack the subjects outside of 25 m away from them.

If there is a person that falls asleep within 25 m of SCP-5141 it will begin moving towards the person at a speed of 2.5 m/s, eye contact with the person is never broken, and SCP-5141 will take the most direct route to the person, this includes them moving through walls by opening it with the needles on their hands, moving through the surface and closing it behind them as though they were sewing it back together, a small scrape will be left behind by this process as there are no binding threads holding it closed.

Once it reaches the subject it will move aside clothing or locate the nearest location on the subjects body and make an incision, these incisions range from approximately 2 to 14 centimeters long, once the incision is made SCP-5141 will begin to remove tissue from the subject and place it near the spot where its mouth stain is. Extended periods of this process will incur discomfort in the subject, occasionally confused with growing pains or sleep paralysis.

As SCP-5141 consumes more tissue from its victim the tint of its skin will start to turn less pale and starts to lose the symptoms of malnutrition as it seems to be nourishing itself.
