Transformative Bio-Dom

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class #: Elucid

Special Containment Procedures: Currently, there is no viable way to contain SCP-XXXX. Missing Person(s) reports are to be monitored as a possible indicator of SCP-XXXX.

All civilians afflicted by SCP-XXXX are to be contained for a period of 40 days, administered class C-Amnestics and released into the general public.

No foundation personnel are to enter SCP-XXXX outside of testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a bio-dome measuring 100 feet in length and width, and 50 feet in height. SCP-XXXX is primarily composed of glass and interlacing steel beams, forming a triangular pattern. All attempts to damage, alter, or destroy SCP-XXXX have met with failure.

SCP-XXXX exhibits a slight memetic effect that induces all nearby humans to locate, then enter SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX is effectively mobile, through unknown means. SCP-XXXX materializes randomly in rural areas forest paths, and extremely secluded areas, specifically near groups of 2-3 hikers or travelers. SCP-XXXX will “disappear” through unknown means when all human activity outside of SCP-XXXX has ceased. SCP-XXXX is restricted to the eastern United States, being seen as Far west as the Mississippi River, and as east as the Chesapeake Bay.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a fully functional biosphere capable of supporting life. SCP-XXXX-1 is considerably larger than SCP-XXXX, yet resides within SCP-XXXX via unknown means. The environment of SCP-XXXX-1 varies drastically from the environment outside of SCP-XXXX.

Any human that enters SCP-XXXX-1 will be slowly changed into an animal, based on the current environment of SCP-XXXX-1. This process happens very slowly, and is painless to the affected person. The process’s completion is marked by a loss of sentience.
