Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard prison cell. SCP-XXXX, should it request it, may be allowed to read other SCP documents. SCP-XXXX should be under constant 24-hour surveillance, in the case of a precognitive incident. Should SCP-XXXX become irritated, it should not be met with force unless deemed necessary.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a young adult male, wearing a plad t-shirt and blue jeans. SCP-XXXX cannot remember its name, nor its birthday. SCP-XXXX claims to possess precognitive abilities, but only to a certain extent (details in Document-XXXX-A).

SCP-XXXX is not inherently hostile, but can become irritated when others attempt to socialize with it.

Document-XXXX-A

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr. ████

<Begin Log>

Dr. ████: Hello. My name is Dr. ████. And you are..?

SCP-XXXX: Carl Jackson.

Dr. ████: Thank you. Now, what-

SCP-XXXX: Are my abilities and the extent of them? Look, if you haven't figured it out already, I can see the future… sort of.

Dr. ████: It was for the record.

SCP-XXXX: (mumbling) Coulda told me that, y'know…

Dr. ████: My Apologies. Now, for the record, what is the extent of your abilities?

SCP-XXXX: Well, I can predict the future, to an extent. I can only predict what's going to happen a few seconds before it does. It can go up to 30 seconds, though. The time between when I predict an event and when it actually happens goes up the more severe the situation is. Then again, what's severe is different for me than for you.

Dr. ████: What do you mean by 'different'? Please elaborate.

SCP-XXXX: Well, it's like this. Say, for example, you pull out a gun right now and shoot me. That's not very severe, because it only affects me, and the precognition gives me enough time to act on it.

Dr. ████: Precognition?

SCP-XXXX: Yeah. Y'know, knowing it's going to happen before it does? You're the smart researcher guy, you should know that.

Dr. ████: Sorry, just wanted to clear that up.

SCP-XXXX: Right. Where was I? Oh right, that. If someone took out a gun and shot you, right here and now, it would be a lot more severe than if I was being shot. You don't have precognition like I do, so you would have no clue it's coming. Even if you did, right now you have no experience with acting on information like that in less that 3 seconds. I think I would have about 5 seconds advance warning on that one.

Dr. ████: An increase of only 2 seconds? That seems low.

SCP-XXXX: Yeah, but 2 seconds can make a big difference. I know from experience.

Dr. ████: And what type of incident would be required to have the full 30 seconds of advance notice?

SCP-XXXX suddenly goes quiet.

Dr. ████: SCP-XXXX?

SCP-XXXX: Could you not call me that?

Dr. ████: Sorry, Carl. Could you please answer my question?

SCP-XXXX: I'll tell you, but you have to promise to believe me, alright?

Dr. ████: I'll try.

SCP-XXXX: Thanks. The only thing that gave me that 30 seconds was it.

Dr. ████: It? What do you mean?

SCP-XXXX: I don't know what it was, to be honest. I do know that it could read my thoughts, though. Not my precognitive thoughts, but all the other ones. That's how I was able to get away.

Dr. ████: Get away from what? What was it?

SCP-XXXX: That's just it, I don't know. My precognition told me that I was in deep shit and I shouldn't look at it at all costs. I felt a way out with my precognition, with me being able to see when I would stumble and correcting it and all.

Dr. ████: Do you have anything you could tell us about what you encountered? Did it make noise, for example?

SCP-XXXX: Well, it did make a beeping sound, sort of like a bomb in video games. If it was a bomb, I don't know why my precognition told me to look away and get the fuck out. Maybe it was rigged to some kind of camera with an AI or something? I don't know.

Dr. ████: Well, that about does it for today. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

<End Log>

Closing Statement: Upon further testing, SCP-XXXX does exhibit abilities that line up with it's claims. It can be assumed that what he says is true, although I'm not entirely certain yet. -Dr. ████.
