Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 10 meters wide, 4 meters high, 10 meters deep containment chamber. SCP-XXXX is to be covered with a layer of any opaque object indefinitely. SCP-XXXX may only be uncovered and exposed to a living being for investigation purposes. Unauthorized use of SCP-XXXX will lead to the memory wipe of all interactions with SCP-XXXX through the use of amnestics.
All physical contact with SCP-XXXX is strictly forbidden regardless of all factors. All personnel approach SCP-XXXX with intentions to maintain physical contact with it will be subject to termination regardless of position within the facility.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a circle-shaped reflective subject resembling a mirror consisting of a radius of 78 cm. SCP-XXXX consists of two sides, one reflective and one opaque. SCP-XXXX seems to be extremely hard to destroy if not impossible. The reflective side of SCP-XXXX will reveal its anomalous properties when being looked at by a human being. All footage of SCP-XXXX shows the properties of a conventional mirror with no anomalous properties.
Upon maintaining visual contact with SCP-XXXX subjects will be able to perceive SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 within the mirror. SCP-XXXX-1 is the space shown inside SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 does not seem to have a fixed appearance, changing each time visual contact is broken. SCP-XXXX-2 is the designated classification for a living being inside SCP-XXXX-1, which have been proven to share identities with the subject maintaining eye contact with SCP-XXXX. Upon ceasing eye contact for longer than 5 seconds SCP-XXXX-2 instances will seemingly disappear from sight. Eye contact with SCP-XXXX afterwards will lead to a different SCP-XXXX-2 instance to appear.
SCP-XXXX-2 can be seen as an individual of any race, social class, and species, including species able to travel through different dimensions (See incident XXXX-26). SCP-XXXX-2 instances are not bound be the personality of the observer. Because of this discrepancy, some SCP-XXXX-2 instances have expressed hostility to the observer (See incident XXXX-06).
Physical contact with SCP-XXXX will lead to the consciousness of the subject being instantly replaced with that of SCP-XXXX-2 and vice-versa. This process is relatively unreversable, even if SCP-XXXX-2 or the subject transferred into SCP-XXXX-1 maintain physical contact with SCP-XXXX after the process has ended.
SCP-XXXX was recovered from an abandoned tent resembling those used for fortune telling along with four decks of cards, a Bible, a necklace and an Ouija-like board game. All of which exhibit anomalous properties themselves.
