Item #: 4256
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4256 is to be kept in a concrete 18 x 18 x 18 containment cell with 6in thick concrete walls. The entrance is to be sealed with a steel mechanical door with level 3 access. A single guard must be posted outside at all times. No windows are permitted on SCP-4256 cell. Feeding and cleaning documents are organized in document 1764-CH.
No personal are allowed to enter SCP-4256 containment cell with out clothes that cover the entirety of their body. With the exception of testing.
Description: SCP-4256 is a humanoid creature standing at 7’6. It has long arms that are 5’3 in length, with long silvery white fingers with white claws. A green, sticky fur covers SCP-4256’s body at varying lengths. Its eyes are black with white sclera. Its face is strange and appears to be something between a cat and a mole.
SCP-4256 usually sits in the right corner of its cell facing away from the door, its arms are usually held to its side and only moves when the door is opened for cleaning. And afterwards for feeding. SCP-4256 appears intelligent and will use short 6 word sentences to communicate. Tests have shown that it is capable of advanced language however it prefers to use the sentences “Here you go.” and “Please, take it.”.
It seems docile in nature and has made no attempt to harm anyone even when aggressive actions were made towards it. When its life is in danger however, it will use the sticky hairs covering its body to defend itself. It uses these hairs similar to that of a porcupine with the hairs sticking together to make spines, it will use them as a projectile towards anything that tries to harm it further. Even if the object isn’t affected by them.
SCP-4526, upon seeing an individuals skin, will freeze for about 45 minutes. During this time the hairs on its body will begin to change color. These colors vary depending on the individual it has seen.
When it starts moving again, SCP-4526 will begin to work on SCP-4526-1. It will tear the colored hairs on its body and weave it into a furred fabric, after which it will begin to use a sharpened spine, or tool, to sow the pieces together.
After a sort of jumpsuit is make, a teal colored sap like substance will begin to excrete from SCP-4526’s mouth. This substance is made of an unidentified material. After a large enough quantity of the material is gathered, it will start to mold it into the shape of an animal head with out any eyes, teeth, or tongue. The animal has been varied from a mythical creature, to an unknown species, to a normal animal found on earth.
It will then after making a shape, use the fur fabric it made earlier and stick it on. Any excess material is use to shape out the rest of the body, making digitigrade legs in the bodysuit, a set of hand like paws, and stuffing a tail if the creature it has made has one. All of the pieces have a highly realistic appearance. This hole process takes around 4 weeks to complete.
Once SCP-4526 has completed the process of making SCP-4526-1, it will then progressively seek out the person it saw and give it to them. Even going as far as to attempt to break down walls and doors.
If the subject the suit was made for won’t accept it, SCP-4562 will continue following them until they do. If the subject does accept it but doesn’t put on SCP-4526-1, it will wait until they do. If the subject does put the suit on partially then it will have the same reaction as stated above.
Once SCP-4526-1 has been fully worn by the subject, the subject will suddenly collapse on the ground and proceed to violently convulse. After around 1 minute the teal sap like substance used in the making of SCP-4526-1 will begin to leak out any openings, soon after which upon first leaking out, the subject will calm down and go into a sleep like state.
The subject stays in this state for exactly 3 weeks, during which the skin and muscle is attaching itself to SCP-4526-1’s fabric. The eyeless sockets in the mask will gloss over as the subjects eyes change underneath. The mouth in the mask will eventually be filled with the subjects teeth and tongue. Testing has shown that the subject has strong neurological activity during this state, however when questioned after they awaken, they say that they have no recollection of what happened during that time.
SCP-4526 will then watch over the subject and ‘care’ for them during this time. Usually giving them most of the food and water that was originally intended for SCP-4526, by pouring and gently shoving the materials inside the mouth of the mask.
After 2 weeks, signs of activity will begin to show. Involving twitching in various parts of the body, especially in twitching of the tail, eyelids, ears, and hands. The jaw of the mask will begin to function normally when fed, and swallowing can be seen in the subjects throat.
Exactly 3 weeks after first wearing SCP-4526-1 the subject will awake. They have the conscious as before and nothing mentally seems to have changed. Their body however has completely merged with SCP-4526-1 and they have become SCP-4526-A.
Document #12: SCP-4256 was found on █/█/11, in a small park in ███,██████,██. They were found making SCP-4256-1 for a small boy near by. They were both taken in and sent to site 38. The boy was an orphan named ██████.
Shortly after containment, SCP-4526 completed SCP-4526-1, it broke out of containment and found Douglas, whom put on the suit.
SCP-4526-1 at the time was taking the appearance of a white wolf.
-REDACTED-
Document #216: The first experiment with SCP-4526 and SCP-4526-1 took place with a staff volunteer, who was given permission by the current site manager, on █/█/12. Dr.████ entered the containment cell of SCP-4526 at █:██ A.M and left after ██:█ A.M. Shortly after SCP-4526 unfroze and began making SCP-4526-1.
Soon after SCP-4526-1 was complete SCP-4526 began seeking out Dr.████, whom come right away after being alerted by staff. She put on the suit and immediately began the process.
SCP-4526-1 at the time, had the appearance of a red grizzly bear with black markings strewn about its body. With one ear being completely black.
Week 1, SCP-4526-1 was given 2 full meals a day during dawn and dusk at around 6 A.M and 6 P.M. No physical activity was shown during this week. SCP-4526 sat down in the corner of its cell near by and kept an eye on SCP-4526-1. Though it did take breaks to sleep, eat, and groom itself. When personnel entered its cell SCP-4526 would stand up and guard SCP-4526-1. If personnel approached SCP-4526-1, it would try and stop them by talking and putting their hand in front of them. Even going to the extent as to go into a defensive state and shoot spine near the personnels feet.
When the personnel left, SCP-4562 would go back to what it was doing before. When introduced to personnel with out anything covering their skin the SCP did not freeze or start making another SCP-4526-1 during and after the time SCP-4526-1 was active.
Week 2, SCP-4526-1 began to show signs of activity, involving eyelid squinting, and finger and toe twitching. Their jaw began to move as well and swallowing was later observed further in the week.
Week 3, SCP-4526-1 began to show signs of fully active movements, almost like a dog sleeping. With legs bending and kicking at random, and their head turning abruptly. Bear like noises and heavy breathing often occurred when they move. At the end of the week SCP-4526-1 awoke and was later renamed to SCP-4526-A2. Dr.████ was then immediately taken out of the cell when SCP-4526 showed no defensive behavior when staff approached Dr. ████.
She was immediately sent to undergo a full medical and psychological evaluation. Results showed that she had completely merged with SCP-4526-1 and her internal system had changed drastically. Her immune system had changed so that she could eat both food that was safe for bears, and humans. Her strength and stamina had greatly improved to what was average for bears. Her mental state was still the same however and Dr.████’s conscience was still there.
After further testing it was determined that Dr.████ could continue to work in the facility as she was before.

Dr.█████: Do you remember anything while you were in SCP-4526-1?
SCP-4562-A2: No, it was like I was asleep. I didn’t have any dreams or anything. I just blacked out and awoke.
Dr.█████: Why did you volunteer to be the test subject Ms.████?
SCP-4562-A2: I can’t really explain it but, I guess its because I was never really fascinated by humans. Ive never really wanted to be human ever since I was a little kid. I had always dreamt of being something else ever since I was a little girl. And ever since the planning for the first test underwent I couldn’t help but ask.
