Item #: SCP-5079
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5079 is to be kept in a 5x5 meter room in the north wing of Site-125. It is to be kept inside a vacuum sealed ballistic glass container in the middle of the room. No unauthorized personnel should open the container or be terminated immediately on site. 2 armed guards must always stand beside entrance to the room containing SCP-5079 at all times. The door must be locked with a 10-digit passcode.
Description: SCP-5079 is a shard made out of an unknown material. The material seems to be a semi-metallic black crystal that has a hardness on Mohs scale over 10. The artifact appears to be damaged but appears to experience no damage caused by the reentry and impact on the surface, despite the high temperatures and force when it hits the surface. The material that SCP-5079 is made of seems to repel all types of energy except gravity and light. The energy repelled will be exerted back on the source of the energy, for example, a person touching SCP-5079 will feel his/her own body temperature.
Several drawings have been engraved into SCP-5079 when it was made by [REDACTED]. The drawings show a star system containing what possibly is a neutron star and a planet above the horizon of a location on Earth, depicted by several mountains and a city resembling [REDACTED]. The drawing depicts that the city and the mountains are being disintegrated but the star system remains unharmed. Subjects touching SCP-5079 will have a 1.53% chance of seeing a "vision" projected by the artifact in the subject's mind by unknown means. The subject will currently experience his/her consciousness being sent out of this time and space. The subject will appear to be floating in an empty void outside the universe and not effected by time, looking at the universe. The universe will then begin to collapse on itself, into a single point, creating a scar shaped tear in space time. The subject will then observe as the rift tears through the dimension until it is removed from existence. The subject will then exit the "vision" automatically and return to the time when the subject touches SCP-5079.
SCP-5079 seems to be a prophecy or a warning of the destruction of multiple dimensions that will happen at an unknown date. The bottom of SCP-5079 has words engraved into it in [REDACTED], translated to "End's Dream". The subjects who touched and saw the "vision" will experience a feeling of peace and silence when exiting the "vision". All subjects report a sighting of an unknown entity present on the star system observed when touching SCP-5079. The entity appear to have a non-physical form, but appears to be made visible to the subject from a human view by the creators of SCP-5079 by unknown means. This entity has been foreshadowed in [REDACTED] archaeological sites across the world, accompanied by 2 similar planetary objects are depicted in SCP-5079.
Addendum: SCP-5079 is found near a crater in [REDACTED] N, [REDACTED] W. Multiple reports of a meteor with a black fireball and black fiery tail coming space and from north fell in the nearby mountains were received by the local government. The evidence was covered by the local government from the local civilians. The government granted access for the SCP Foundation to have possession of the fragments of the fallen meteor.
Note: The location of the origin of SCP-5079 is currently unknown. The foundation is currently gathering more information concerning this matter at the crater, which the government granted access.
Test A - [REDACTED]
Subject: A small fragment of SCP-5079, found near the crater of SCP-5079.
Procedure: A highly focused beam of energy directed from a particle collider was applied at a single spot on the fragment. Test was conducted in the middle of the Sahara Desert.
Results: An explosion occurred which formed a 294 meter deep and 900 meter wide crater. The surrounding sand covering an area of [REDACTED] was turned to glass. 2 researchers were killed on site.
Analysis: The fragment seems to repel energy that moves slower than light speed. Once a focused beam of energy moving at light speed is applied to the fragment, the energy was amplified tremendously, and shatters atoms surrounding the fragment, creating a chain reaction that destroy more atoms until the energy was used up. The crater did not create hazardous debris, instead, the debris was turned into energy, leaving no atoms.
