Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6969 is to be kept inside an 8x8 containment chamber requiring Level-3 keycard access, resting on top of a table.
Description: SCP-6969 is a Blu-Ray player coloured jet black. If an organic material comes into contact with SCP-6969 (Now referred to as SCP-6969-2). SCP-6969 will project a laser, scanning SCP-6969-2's 'vibe', if SCP-6969-2 passes the 'vibe check' SCP-6969 will flash green and project a smiley face. However if SCP-6969-2 fails the 'vibe check' SCP-6969 will flash red and play an alarm sound, followed by a frowning face, SCP-6969 will then proceed to launch Blu-Ray discs into SCP-6969-2, impaling and in most cases, killing SCP-6969-2.
It is believed that to pass the 'vibe check' SCP-6969-2 must currently be in a content state, if not, SCP-6969-2 will be terminated by SCP-6969.
SCP-6969 hasn't had any glitches until SCP-6969/SCP-999 Test-1.
SCP-6969/SCP-999 Test Log-1:
1 Class-D personnel was exposed to SCP-999 5 minutes prior before being taken to SCP-6969's chamber.
Class-D (Now referred to as SCP-6969-2) approaches SCP-6969.
SCP-6969 begins the scan on SCP-6969-2.
Shortly afterwards, SCP-6969 flashes green and projects a smiley face, but this was repeated by another smiley face, and another.
SCP-6969-2 (Now referred to as Class-D) was taken out of SCP-6969's containment chamber and taken back to it's cell.
SCP-6969 continued to repeat smiley faces for a further 28 and a half hours.
