Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4900 is to be kept in Site [DATA EXPUNGED]. A minimum of 5 guards is to be on the post on SCP-4900. Site [DATA EXPUNGED] was specifically built for housing SCP-4900. It is to be contained underground 100 meters underground, with airtight chambering celled by the dimension of 50 meters by 50 meters by a 10 inches thick, 2meters by 2-meter titanium infused cobalt-iron gate. Motion sensors and heat vision cameras are mandatory inside of SCP-4900 containment chamber. The cell must be inspected every two weeks for damage via three armed guards and 2 D-class personnel. In case of a containment breach, a highly corrosive substance is to be spread out during the area of the breach, even though ending all lifeforms inside of the facilities. From this, no organic mattered SCP objects are to be contained within the facility ordered by 05-11.

Description: SCP-4900 is what appears to be a Cockatrice, in the similarly described form from the Middle Ages. (As many refer as a "Basilisk") It stands around 11 meters in height with a length of 27 meters. Its head resembles a chicken with a tongue similar to a snake. Its body is covered in scales like a dragon, and its tail is like an Indian cobra. Its overall appearance is indescribable, as it camouflages with its surroundings changing from the color pink, to black seen on test #4. As commonly said to have with a basilisk, it has eyes that paralyze any observer that looks upon its eyes. According to report #1, SCP-4900 appears to have no shadows or reflection of itself. This is concluded from the urban myths of how to defeat similar creatures as SCP-4900, to gaze upon itself with a mirror. It is unknown how and when this creature came into existence, but documents state back from the middle ages, early as the year 1260 A.D from De proprietatibus rerum. This SCP has breached its facility 6 times, highly intelligent, and has incredible regeneration capabilities not similar to SCP-682. SCP-4900 was kept in the site [DATA EXPUNGED] before the initial termination of SCP-4900.

Discovery
SCP-4900 was discovered near Avignon, France, after a report of seeing a flying entity and several missing people. It was discovered on a mountain-side, full of trees and what appeared to be a nest. A dispatch of a group of MTF was ordered and all of its members lost contact with the foundation. From this, a heavier armed MTF squadron was sent successfully containing SCP-4900, after many deaths and attempts. After this event, SCP-4900 was sent to site [DATA EXPUNGED] before an initial breach, terminating several SCPs.
