Special Containment Procedures: An exclusion zone was built around SCP-2406 to keep non-authorized personnel from entering the island . This zone is ~35 meters from shore . unauthorized personnel who pass the zone will be immediately arrested .
Only personnel who are instructed and have special suits shall proceed to enter the island . Effects will start at ~5 meters from the island.
If there are instances of SCP-2406-1 trying to escape the island , personnel are instructed to terminate the subject . Personnel shall NOT be exposed to the sun while exploring SCP-2406.
Description: SCP-2406 is an island covering ~270 meters squared . Personnel who are exposed to the sun for more then 3 minutes will begin to start having pimples ~ 1.2 cm in volume covering the area that was previously exposed to the sun . After 10 minutes the pimples will begin to pop. After the pimples have popped , small tentacles grow out of the infected area. Subject will begin to pass out at this stage . An hour after the subject has passed out they will wake up in a deformed form. Their head will begin to have a form similar to SCP-939 but smaller and less stronger. Their skin will have a pink color and flesh will be deformed.
After this stage , subject has become SCP-2406-1.
The island has been discovered in the ████████ Ocean , by Dr. █████ .
